Today I completed the World 2 meta, and got the backpack from the achievement. (like before) Like before, it’s exactly the same. I have to ask.. Why? This greatly annoys me. It’s one thing to keep the weapons the same (because lets face it, they’re awesome) but why in the world are these two items be identical? At least the icon on the side of the pack should be a BOLT and not a BAUBLE. Actually, for that matter, why can’t I even see my backpack inside of the Super Adventure Box? I can’t even show this pack off in the one place it was designed for! Does that not disappoint anyone else?

But they are not the same. One is green, the other is yellow.

They’re also worse-looking than the blue backpack, which you can’t get anymore.

I feel like the Toad King/Storm Wizard weapons need something more to distinguish themselves from the original Super Skins, like lightning pixel effects or a green acid mist effect or something. Or they could’ve changed parts of the actual skins to reflect the bosses better.

As it stands, they’re just green and yellow recolors(and on some of the older skins, there are blue parts remaining that clash with the green and yellow). Kinda disappointing.

And not being able to show any back items in the S.A.B. is also a little downer too. :/

They’re the same. Even the color doesn’t really show through, lol. I know there are a ton of people out there that agree, they just aren’t as vocal about it.

I don’t understand your logic…

The difference between a Storm Wizard weapon and a King Frog weapon is the color…and that is all. So why would the back-pack differ?

If your statement is to say the color Yellow is much like the color Green, then get mad at life. There is a distinct difference in hue at play here. Back pack, like the Yellow Warhorn is a warm yellow (Yellow slightly diluted with orange)—were as the other yellow weapons are slightly more yellowish green. That is something worth complaining about…

First of all, my logic need not apply to you. Second, I feel the weapons and their color scheme have a use in the end (even if the yellow is meh). Third, dolphins. Seriously though, there is no difference between the packs and a color change just won’t do. They’re EXACTLY the same for two different worlds. It should at least have a storm cloud or something on the side of it instead of a “bauble”. It’s called the “Storm Wizard” for a reason. That’s my beef, really. On top of all that you still can’t use it in Super Adventure Box.

different Icon’s would be rather interesting. Seeing as we used baubles to obtain the blue backcover, perhaps the icons on the Frog and Wizard backcovers should also reflect their origins. (Perhaps use the icons on the Z-3 tokens?)

Your still killing me when you say they are EXACTLY the same though. They are actually INFACT different shades of color.

I’m actually okay with this! Lol.

So now that that’s settled I have to say I had a couple of chuckles reading cosmetic complaints in the title of the topic only to come across a picture of the most overdone and boring armor.

Well, to each their own.
Btw, green nor yellow fit with that black/red/blue fire armoured plant theme you have going there, cosmetically speaking.
