Yes, I beat Tribulation mode, I now got a Wizard Greatsword and a Wizard Shield. Well, yeah, many has done it, many will do it.

The thing is, I didn’t even purchase an Infinite Coin, because you don’t need to, because you can get Baubles so easily, to buy Continue Coins, or they drop from other jumping puzzles.

I didn’t even have Baubles from last time to buy Continue Coins now.

So to all of you who says ; You just say it’s easy and doesn’t need a nerf because you got a Infinite Coin. All of you can relax, it’s far from Pay 2 Win as some of you love to call it, it’s not even close.

I even had fun doing it. The main thing that killed me the most was round edges, that you started to slide down from into traps, or out from the map.

Thanks.

Agreed, not P2W. You need to be aware that you need to farm some baubles tho. Doesn’t take too long.

I loved tribulation mode until world 2 zone 3, i hate that one so much, too many very tiny ledges to jump on i feel so bad for norn and charrs. Took me 3 hours to do, nothing was too hard even the ice spike puzzle wasnt that bad, but the ledges i respectivley would agree with making them a bit easier.

I call this…“LOOK AT MY kitten” topic.
You haven’t done anything noteworthy.
You haven’t done anything requiring skill.

To quote you… “I even had fun doing it”. Congrats… I guess you like repetitive mindless things heavily on the side of luck.

I’m gonna have to ask you to explain how SAB TM is luck based.

I like how the first ones who say something doesn’t take skill are the ones who literally can’t do it lol. And don’t even try to say “pfft, I already beat Tribulation mode, it was easy” because no one believes you. Or is it so stupid and easy it isn’t worth your time to even attempt.

Dude, get a grip. We understand that you don’t like it. But you seriously need to stop jumping down everyone else’s throat just because they do.

You are mistaken, he has done something noteworthy, he beat a difficult game with finite lives. This would only be more noteworthy if he is able to claim he didn’t use a guide, which I hope is the case.

He has, also, done something that requires quite a bit of skill. There are plenty of people who aren’t able to do it, and never will be, because they don’t have that skill. Most of them are the people who complain about it and bash on other people for succeeding and calling it easy. You know, like you.

I also enjoy doing tribulation mode. Not because I like bashing my head against things, but because I enjoy the feeling of overcoming a difficult obstacle. I also like the satisfaction of realizing where a trap will be and avoiding it before it gets me, only to mess up later and have it verified that I was right to think it was there. I even enjoy the shock of going forward, feeling safe, only to have it snatched away by a clever and devious trap. It’s fun. But you really do have to finish it in order to feel that way.

Hi?

TM atm is probably the hardest content in GW2, it requires tons of skill and luck plays pretty much zero part on it.
Please explain.

TM is not hard if you have seen how other people done it.

There are so many video guide to run TM in youtube now. If you have watched, then you can avoid all instant death traps. You just required a certain amount of skill.

If you love JP then it’s even easier. Infinite coin or not.

I’m mind of disappointed about the video guides and how many people rely on them. I’ve seen people get stuck on parts that were changed with the latest patch and then say they don’t know what to do since they can no longer do it like in the video. The clouds past the checkpoint by the elite skill in W2Z3 is a good example. I just wonder how many people will get stuck if they patch the bridge part at the end of that zone.

I have no proof whatsoever if I did Tribulation mode with a guide or not. The only thing I can say is that I didn’t use a guide, because I like to figure stuff out myself, and I saw this as a challenge against Josh Foreman (and the other guys of the SAB team).

Also because I know I have loads, and loads of time completing this. A whole month is a fair amount of time to go through this.

The only thing I am guilty of is using a guide for finding the baubles in World 2 Zone 1.

And as said, I have not purchased an Infinite Coin, it wasn’t needed, and I don’t think people should think that it is necessary to get one either.

I see myself as a really skilled jumper. I love jumping puzzles. I just loved the Mad King’s Clock Tower, and I hope it will return to Halloween again, or maybe even become even worse.

Try to feel better knowing that it really wasn’t designed for them. I didn’t use a guide, but I ran into a situation like that in the beginning of W1Z3. I became convinced you absolutely weren’t supposed to use the log, and I realized there was a way to jump up the side of the cliff. Then after the patch they took out that way and it took me a while to figure out how to go around and use the other side of the cliff past the log. If you weren’t prepared for that it really wouldn’t be intuitive, and if it’s not your thing I could definitely see people getting frustrated and giving up.

Then I wholly back what I said before. Also, it’s just Josh. There were other people involved, but it was Josh you were doing metaphorical battle with.

lol is that your definition of skill.. TM doesn’t take skill at all. Everyone can just die over and over again untill you figure out the right path to do. All you need is continue coins and space bar. Getting 8 orbs in Liadri was A LOT more challenging than TM so saying it’s the hardest content in the game is pushing it.

Bleh too be completely honest Liadri was the most non-accessible encounter in the game. I could not realistically attempt going for achievements due to the shear amount of lag in that zone. If I had a decent frame-rate I would have actually attempted that content.

Like any other objective in a game—you can learn the method to win. I think learning the method to beat Liadri (and executing it) would take a significantly less time than learning the method (and executing it) to finish Tribmode SAB.

It’s easy to do it off continue coins. You can farm world 1 daily for 7 bauble bubbles. Each bauble bubble gives you 5 continue coins. Each continue coin gives you 6 useable lives. I’m sure you can do the math.

The infinite continue coin is just for the convenience of not doing world 1 each day to get bauble bubbles for coins or to farm baubles.

Well you’ll have to choose or start doing world 2. Assuming it takes 200 deaths to complete a zone, this should have minimal impact on getting skins. With videos likely out now for every zone, the death count should be much lower than what those of us had when we did them before their availability.

Since giving up on a legendary for now due to my inability to farm due to college and teh macroeconomy, I thought I could spare the 26 gold to get an infinte continue coin and get storm wizard sets, so I’m happy with my decision as I’m so bad at SAB I’d run out of real continue coins for sure.
