Solo Progress
There’re problems? Yes, I finished both worlds in normal mode and world 1 in TM solo.
I do all my SAB solo. Frankly it’s easier that way.
I’ve done all of World 1 (including all the achievements) solo, all of World 2 in Infantile mode and Zone 1 in normal mode. Only reason I haven’t done more is I haven’t had the time. I fully expect to be able to finish the entire thing solo.
I’m not strictly a solo player but I prefer doing SAB this way because I like to take my time to explore and whenever I’m in a group with someone they just want to get to the end (sometimes with stops along the way for extra baubles).

I can’t get past King Toad on normal difficulty. I’ve wasted over 20 continue coins on King Toad alone.
Kind Toad for me is very much about dodging.
He raises an eyebrow opposite the to side he is about to stomp. So you can either move to the other side or prepare to dodge.
When he does a little doouble bounce there he about to hit both sides with a double wave. It is very difficult to dodge it, so I just jump to one of the two safe spots. There are rocks just off to the side o the lilly pad where the wave will not reach.
After he opens his mouth, if you do not throw a jewel in he will do a tounge attack. So make sure that if you know you are going to miss a jewel, just get read to dodge and dodge just before you think you should.

Break his necklace, take gem, wait for him to open his mouth, throw it at him. If you don’t have gem and he open his mouth, time dodge to evade his sweeping attack.
Watch out where he looks – he will throw shockwave from that place. If he looks around he is going to do butt shockwave. Always run to safe spots – 2 rocks in the water.
Throw 3 gems onto him, smash him with your pointy stick and that’s it.
Done everything solo, normal and tribulation mode, several times.
The positives about doing it solo are that you dont have to wait for people, and that the bosses scale.
The negatives about doing it solo are that some bosses and mobs are easier to kill with multiple people. The tribulation cloud for instance will only target you if you’re doing it solo (obviously) which might cause some frustration as it has an annoying knockback and is usually placed where knockbacks = death. In addition it might be hard for not-so-experienced players to complete a zone solo as there are many traps and it might help having more players around to remember the location of the traps after triggered.
I guess this post got more and more specific about soloing tribulation mode. Oh well
Edit
Oh, and also, King Toad is alot easier if you grab a gem and then jump back to safety on one of the two rocks in the water. You can reach him from the rocks with the throw, and you can start throwing when you see the animation where he starts looking around. Using your slingshot will make it go alot faster too.
