I saw someone in WvW today with a green King Toad shield skin moving around. The effect was extraordinary where the green effect was very strong kind of like a legendary.

I have not noticed that effect strength in the past with the blue SAB shield skin.

Are the items the same with simply different colors or is the particle effect of the tribulation mode weapon skins much stronger?

The glow effect is stronger, I have the green greatsword. I like the glow effect personally

Fun fact: When you switch to the sab shield it spins around and a sword comes down from the air, like the shield in the world 1 zone 1 intro does

Yup, its a lot brighter. In combination with my armour it actually hurts my eyes when I run around in orr

well their brighter but its possible thats just that yellow is a naturaly brighter color than green. The amount of sparkles left behind is prety comperable from what I’ve seen but I’d have to go back and do another run through of either world 1 or world 2 to be sure. Got the SW greatsword and the TK sword/shield myself.

Which are the weapons who leave a trail, besides the shield?

That is too bad if the GS doesn’t have a nice glowing trail since I was looking forward to getting the greatsword.

It’s a really great skin and what it represents is awesome, but for it to be perfect a trail is missing. I so want a trail for mine.

Well I just did a side by side comparison with a blue, yellow, and green greatsword. It turns out the particle effects are exactly the same on all three greatswords even while running. The only difference I saw was the color and the amount of brightness. The yellow is a bit brighter, but that is probably due to the color.
