I just wanted to know if you NEED any weapons like the flute to be able to finish tribulation mode in world 2 zone 3. I was watching duffys guild and she was saying you want to have the flute and some songs learned for zone 3. So I’d like to know if you need to have them. As I haven’t even played it on normal mode yet haha.

You only need the torch (you’ll be able to purchase it before you need it for 400 baubles). She mentioned the flute (and songs) for in case you were going for the tough customer achievement at the same time.

you can get through with only the torch.

having nunchuck, 5 hearts, bombs and/or slingshot, and flute w/ 2-2 and 2-3 songs will make your life easier.

The Flute saves you a lot of frustration. Stopping wind walls; like the ones in insane spike room, perma destroying ice walls, skipping icicle puzzle at end and so on.

Aside from needing the torch the only thing I would add would be to get plenty of baubles beforehand as there is an area where u need to bomb down icicles and of course these eat up baubles, my experience was that I got so far to the part I just mentioned and ran out of baubles, I was sick did all that for nothing

Just dig the ground for random baubles…

Alternatively get the flute with the icicle breaking song is much preferred.
