I think it’s important to state this, regardless of all the complaints about difficulty, glitches and frustration, Super Adventure Box has been by far some of the most fun time I’ve ever had in an MMO. I am beyond ecstatic to see more content for this game within a game.

So thank you staff that created this!

This! Josh is getting so many angry comments and such, i hope he doesn’t forget that there are bunch of us that really, REALLY love this patch and that the complainers are probably just loud minority!

I was about to make a thank you thread too lol.

I personally think that the overall increase in difficulty was a good thing. There may have been some spots here or there that really frustrated me but overall I (if you ignore the excitement that was there when SAB first came out) I enjoyed world 2 more than world 1. World 2 may have felt a little claustrophobic but I’m guessing that’s because of the mountain theme that world 2 had. World 1 had more a plains theme.

Because of the increase in difficulty I can definitely see a lot more complaining than for world 1. And I hope that Josh and his team don’t get discouraged by that and know that there are people out there like me that enjoyed the increased difficulty. When people post on forums it seems like people have a tendency to mostly post when they’re upset about something, not when they like something. And so if you only listen to the forums you will have a jaded view that everyone hates all of your content. And that’s not true. I personally love the overall increased difficulty. It makes beating it feel that much better.

The only concern I may have is that a lot of people may not have the time to complete everything that they want to because the game is harder and takes more time. Then also the crowd that wasn’t here for world 1 has to do world 1 as well. I saw a suggestion in a forum somewhere to add a SAB home console in your home instance and I think that’s a really cool idea. I’m not sure in what circumstances you guys would implement that. Maybe have a meta where you just have to beat all the worlds (don’t have to get the secrets of anything else) and then you get it. I don’t know. But the idea of having it seems really cool.

I am also a huge fan of this world. I’ve spent the last few hours going over every inch of Zone 2 to try to find the last two secrets I’m missing and am having a great time doing so.

Increased difficulty is great, as well. In April’s patch when we only had World 1, SAB was a fun mini-game for us to participate in and breeze through its entirety in an hour or two. With the addition of World 2, however, SAB has now essentially become a full game within Guild Wars for us to devote hours to playing, discovering and exploring.

Thank you, Josh, and everyone else on the team behind this phenomenal update! Don’t let the naysayers get you down, there are a large number of us who absolutely love this world you’ve created. Seriously, thanks.

Thank you for World 2!

I refuse to step foot inside the SAB as I don’t group with others but does anyone else notice the astounding similarities between the SAB and Minecraft?

Why not just go in alone?

I tried that once in Cliffside Fractal. It didn’t work out. I have refused to run group dungeons ever since.

Just finished the World 2 TM! I have never felt so proud of having a weapon in this game before and i will respect these yellow items over legendaries as they require more personal skill to get!
Thank you once again, World 2 Zone 3 was wonderful and actually challenging. It had very few “BS” mechanics. (Not that i mind those mechanics.)

Exactly what I love about this patch. If I ever manage to beat World 2 TM I will rep a yellow weapon. I don’t like the staff, it doesn’t match my guy, but it beats my scythe staff that just says ‘I beat RNG’ and I’d rather a staff that says “I worked my butt off to get this and it was hard”

Just want to add a thank you for world 2 and SAB in general, it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen done in an MMO before! I love the attention to detail, the difficulty, and huge new zones they’ve made, and tribulation mode is also great fun (in its own crazy way), only have world 2-3 left to do on that

You can DEFINITELY finish World 1 by yourself. Please try it. It’s a ton of fun.

World 2, I would definitely wait till they tone down the difficulty.

I won’t. It clearly states ‘Suggested: 5 Players’ and I don’t group.

It’s just a standard instance message and that’s the only reason why you are seeing it! You can EASILY solo all of the world and zones, just give it a try!

I actually enjoyed World 2 if it weren’t buggy as hell. Finally managed to clear Zone 1 and I have to say it was fun compared to yesterdays buggy geyser/waterfall raging.

No. If they want me to run SAB, they need to make it a solo instance and not a 5 man dungeon.

Ok the first run at world 2 was frustrating but by giving it a second chance you really get the hang of it and its actually really fun.

For those complaining about difficulty: If people can finish int tribunation mode you can finish it in normal mode. its not impossible just harder dan your avrage world 1 zone.

Is it just me or is it kind of odd that one of the most popular things in GW2 isn’t really GW2 but a 80’s throwback platform game placed inside of GW2?

I don’t get it… It’s a solo instance AND a 5 man dungeon. The only reason why it says the five man text is because it uses the same tech for making the instance as five man dungeons does, other than that it is completely balanced around doing it solo. They cannot change what the text says when you enter SAB without affecting the text on other, real 5 man instances.

Is it just me or is it kind of odd that one of the most popular things in GW2 isn’t really GW2 but a 80’s throwback platform game placed inside of GW2?

Well it is one of the few even mildly challenging things in this game so far. ( Liadri and maybe fractals 48+ are the only other things.)

Your way of clinging to minuscule details is rather tiresome. It is both. I know it, you know it. You are informed. You just chose to cling to that pop-up.

Hell, it’s probably easier to finish solo that with a group.

I also really love this content. Ever since the update, I have barely left SAB. It’s weird to play with my thief skills again. I got 4 storm wizard skins for now and I intend to get all of them. If I have time left and I’m bored, I’ll also get the green ones.

Because it’s a daily chest, in my spare time I’ve been boosting my guildies and it’s been fun. I think most of the people in my guild love the content and I know atleast 10 to 20 who are doing or have done tribulation mode.
