Keep moving forward. There are two parts you can rest and avoid bouncers, you don’t have to do the whole hallway in one go. You can dodge against the wall at the last part to not move anywhere but still evade all the rocks, giving you plenty of time to jump down to checkpoint. Here are my notes for that part.

Can rest on the tree (left side avoids previous bouncer) and two jumps after on the horizontal platform (left side). When jumping from the horizontal platform, jump straight up to the second ledge on the right (don’t use two jumps to get there) then as fast as you can down to the two lower trees. Dodge into the wall or a dodge jump helps avoid the rock bounce. Spikes on the right wall at the checkpoint.

Dodge jumping (space + V) is your best friend against those rocks is all I can say. Jump to the furthest away edge you possibly can, when you see the rock jump, dodge jump forward to the next spot.

You will need to master dodge jumping if you want any kind of success in future levels.

Hope that helps.

I won’t stop because I can’t stop.

I’m assuming you’re talking about the rocks over the pit, which is the half way point (ish).

Here’s how I get past it.
Rock 1: Stay as far left as possible
Rock 2: Beeline to the next platform right over it, usually when i try to land far away from it it catches me, but if i go straight over it even if it knocks me down i land on the tree.
Rock 3: Just jump from the part sticking out to the next platform and it shouldn’t have time to hit you.
Rock 4: Dodge into the rock, continue on while it’s cooling down.
Rock 5: Dodge into this rock too, continue on to the tree.
Trap: There’s a trap on the right before the checkpoint, Josh is a troll T-T

this part would be alot easier, if Anet would make out of dodge jumps just a legitimate move, that doesn’t require from you to press 2 buttons perfectly at the same time.
If there would be an offical way to program for the game under the options menu 1 button that lets us per press dodge jump.

But if you press either A or B just a milli second to early it will result in your character either jumping only normal, or making only a dodge roll without any jump …
Thats so annyoung about moves, that require simultanous button pressing, when it could be alot more convenient, when there owuld be just one official button assigned to that move, like one that has anyways currently no usage at all, like Y and X

So it would be nice if Anet could make out of dodge jumps an official move with an assigned button to it so that we can stop to break our thumbs on trying to press tab and V together at the perfect timing …

Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside

This area can be hell if you have bad latency like me. However, I got past it using a strategy similar to Adamantium’s advice. Keep moving during the first portion; don’t stop because lag will make the rocks get you! You can stop for a rest at the left part of the slope covered by spikes.

From here, you can do a dodge jump to get up to the platform without doing two jumps, but if you can’t make it, you can also get by by jumping onto the first platform, then immediately dodging into the wall to evade the rock’s slam. Without pausing, jump onto the second platform, and then dodge into the little alcove with the second rock to evade its attack.

Now jump to the trees and you can rest there and let your heart rate return to normal. I’d kill the monkey first to make sure he doesn’t knock you off though. You can attack him from the second tree below his platform. (Your main weapon actually has quite a high Z-axis attack range!)
