Tribulation bugs
Can confirm these apart from the mountain goat thing. When you spawn at a checkpoint you have like 3 seconds invulnerability. Enough time to go a few steps forward where the goat will not hit you anymore.
Can anyone confirm that collision, sometimes physics in general and lag are worse in tribulation mode? Sometimes, I’m rubberbanding to my death, which didn’t happen yet in normal mode at all.
just get to w2z3 and found this bug.,very frustrate. spent 3 hours to find the way to get all shop stump and make my way here. and this bug just kill me.
u may fixed tomorrow but i need to run all the way here AGAIN?

i got cloud checkpoint but its broke so i need to start from instant-dead-spike-checkpoint over and over

Is the spike-spawn in Z2W2 really a bug? I thought the devs did it on purpose just so they can see us rage-quit and have a laugh…
And lag or latency or whatever it’s called: Z3W1 right after one of the checkpoints, where the acid starts. When I jump off the mushroom near the acid, I die mid air for some strange reason. Happens 1-2 times out of 10.
Same here, it is frustrating spend almost 3 hours to make that far, tribulation is all bugged, Anet please test your content before launching.
It’s more likely that any lag/collision issues are still present in normal mode, you just don’t notice because it doesn’t result in instadeath.
W2Z2, very last cloud checkpoint made me jump on the pillars and run trough fishes every single time instead from the flag, even if i activated it.

This is extreeemmeelly annoying as the ‘stick-jumps’ and trying to get through the fishes without dying is imho the most challenging part of the whole run. And to finally get across there and activate the cloud-buddy – then upon death be put back at the prior checkpoint and do the whole kitten thing over again – I was literally about to chug my pc out the window! Please fix this!!
That checkpoint in W2Z2 before the pillars was made for people who could not manage to go through 2 kitten portals. And they didn’t even think about what it would do in tribulation… Just great.
I still have the feeling that either collision is not working 100% in tribulation mode, or that it has never been working quite correct, but is made apparent by TM. Two examples:
- In world 1, zone 3, after checkpoint 2, the first jump with the mushroom kills me 50% of the time in midair. My guess is that the game thinks I did not jump onto the shroom, but into the acid instead, and kills me.
- Same zone, entry to shop 1: I need at least 10 tries to not get killed when trying to jump through the acid waterfall, because some check kills me just before I’m entering the shop.
These are two of the most obvious examples, but there are many others less obvious, like getting killed while jumping over some spikes.
I also died in mid air after the shroom but only when I jumped straight forward.
Now im always making a little curve to the right and it never happened again since then.
Maybe over the shroom one of the leaves has spikes which kill you when you get to close?!
