I can confrim about the legacy between Cat Mario and TM, everything seems to try to kill u, Point Arrow included, land mine like flowers and invisible terrain that will trow u into lava;

If possible, can some1 post a video with the right track?

That’s the problem isn’t it? If the path is equal to everyone else, only one needs to actually finish and the other copy the path.

Isn’t it now?

At this point, my troubles don’t even seem to be skill based, but rather trial and error. Not even sure how to escape the starting area — I assumed you had to launch yourself with the boulder, but I can’t seem to get that to work. How did you make it through?

I’ll wait til tomorrow and follow the video…

that’s the problem, they use cheap gimmicks and time gating instead of actually requiring skill…

That was the whole point of tribulation, Trial and Error.

I probably should have followed development of tribulation mode more closely, as I’m very disappointed.

The Halloween JP and to some extent, Liandri, reward high levels of skill/ technical ability (though, they each admittedly have their problems.) Invisible floors and untelegraphed KOs don’t reward skill, and in a few days everyone will be able to follow a guide to complete tribulation mode.

Yeah i’m gonna wait for the video too, lol.
After I exploded and took 99999 damage from a flower I leaned back and said “Oh, you’re gonna be like THAT…”

Except IWBTG you respawn instantly at a check point that was at most like 10s earlier than you got killed.

A guide isn’t going to let you sail through this mode. When you get further in there are some very difficult jumps and maneuvers you have to pull off.

As it should be. What SHOULDN’T be, is that the infinite coin is the only way to play the game as it’s intended to be played (alternatively, farm baubles all day).

We now have an item in the gem store that allows access to content. Bad form.

I totally agree with that. The charm of games like IWBTG is there is no gameover (barring hardest difficulty), there is just last checkpoint.

I enjoy these types of games and had the gems lying around, so I caved for the coin. I can’t imagine doing this without it, and I think it was an awful decision.

Yeah this is just more frustrating than fun. Random things that will kill you and you drop through the world to your death with no warning….

I’ll wait for videos to figure out this trial/error crap. I can’t speak for later worlds/zones, but I was hoping for more skill based gameplay….
