So here I am, having upgraded/bought all items you can get in the various stores/hidden areas in the game (nunchucks, medium health potion, flute etc), only still needing Moto’s Finger to get the achievement connected to it.
I managed to get to the area where you need to jump to the right side in order to get onto the clouds that eventually lead to the door which you need to open by playing the flute. Trouble is, I can absolutely not make out the contours of the clouds among the whiteout effects caused by the blizzard. I can make maybe 3 jumps and eventually fail to head in the right direction, plummeting to an untimely demise.
Does anyone have any hints/tricks in order to facilitate this jumping section? I love SAB v2.0 and I love challenges but this one aspect is so hard imo it should be part of the Tribulation mode rather than the normal difficulty setting of the game.

Mostly, you need to zoom your camera in close to your character. Then you can see the clouds peeking through the lcouds.

Another thing is that the clouds have a pretty simple pattern. Most of that path is pretty straight / linear. So you could potentially actually do the jumps by memory as well.
But yeah, zooming in definitely helps a lot.

1) Zoom in on character and
2) Change the gamma in options

Change gamma to 1.5 should help. Personally I found the tribulation version easier (getting to that point not so much). With the darkness of trib mode and the gamma at 1.5 the clouds are clear as day.

I know one pro tip WITH Moto’s Finger.
1) Enter World 2 Zone 1
2) Kill with Moto’s Finger the turtle right before the first checkpoint
3) Profit!
Easy way to skip almost all zone. It’s important to not step on this checkpoint before killing or it’ll be bugged.

Zoom in to see clouds. Have the flute out before you start. Bare left to reach the end. Hit 3 before you jump onto the first of the three clouds to start the charge up, hit 3 again before you jump off. Hit the next two numbers on the second cloud then jump. Hit the last two numbers on the last cloud. The door should open and you should have waited long enough for the first cloud to respawn. If not, just make your way back and the door will be open.

Zooming in, having my flute prepared before starting, and hitting 3 before jumping to the last three clouds are the tricks that helped me. Still, both times I’ve been to the room, I only managed to open it before falling. But then you can just jump back again and it will already be open.

Turning the gamma down to the minimum setting worked for me. The final three clouds don’t actually disintegrate immediately; there’s a 3 second timer before they disappear, so stay on each cloud for 2 seconds to play a note or 2 before jumping to the next cloud. You can jump back to the original cloud too if you need more time.

Managed to get it yesterday after 10 tries or so. Cheers for the pointers folks
