I was grabbing some hidden rooms in 2-3 and had to backtrack to a certain spot a few times. The first time, I saw an infantile cloud, except it wasn’t happy and it wasn’t…uh, ejecting a rainbow through its…posterior. In fact, it seemed terrified, if such a thing is possible. It was standing under a flag of some sort, and it was waving its arms at me and shouting numerous speech bubbles filled with a repeated blurry image that looked kind of like a balloon. Unable to interact with it, I continued on my way, and it was still there the second time. The third time, however, all traces of it were gone. I thought it might have been taken by whatever it was trying to warn me about…
What was it that had that cloud so scared? Why was it there? What was it saying? Where did the flag go when the unspeakable forces of evil finally caught up to the cloud? Could I have saved it, if I’d only known what it was running from? Or would it have gotten me too?
