If we wana upgrade our current exotics to ascended are we gunna have to buy 80 transmute stones to do this? I’ll be really dissapointed if we do. I’m happy with my exotic skins right now but i’d also like to have max gear.

You will have to buy the Transmutation Crystals from the gemstore.

Microtransactions = receive micro, pay macro.

If that is the case then apparently being able to customize the look of your char the way you want is considered a “luxury” by Anet.

Or they could do the sensible thing and allow the green lower level stones to be upgraded via the mystic forge. Everytime I get one of those in a daily/map completion I just see it as a big middle finger.

I run through those like candy. All my lowbies are stylish in their skinned gear.

You wont HAVE to buy stones. But if you want to keep your skins and upgrade stats only option is buying stones.
Im guessing you would like to receive quantity of transmutation stones for free with 3/8 update, right? Because, hey its not fair for them to FORCE you to buy transmutation stones to keep your old skin!

Because not having p2w cash shop items and monthly sub is perfectly fine with you, but making income with cosmetics is a bad thing. How about i give you 60$ and you come and work for me for free next 12 months, sounds fair right?
