Guild Wars 2

Hey, I am in world 2 Zone 1 and trying to do it in normal mode there seems to be some kind of bug?

Basically on the rapids part when you come to burning down the trees and you have to jump from jet to jet I keep land in safe spots and being blown backwards. Is this intended or is it a bug because I cannot progress any further. I have tried many many times but this is incredibly frustrating! I can understand this being implement into the tribulation mode but the normal mode? No. Can this be looked at please.

Happened to me once too, right before the part where you go through the waterfall.

The rapids themselves need to be fixed. The collision is just plain bad.
