Guild Wars 2

I’ve been stuck on this part for a while now, and the search function on the forums doesn’t seem to work correctly for me.

It’s the part in world 2 zone 1 where you have to jump on the falling logs as they fall down the waterfall, just before the end boss.

Can anyone shed some light on how to get past this part? I don’t want to give up, I can see the end boss!]

OK I just found the secret cave full of bears. But they killed me. Is this the way through? lol

thank god there aren’t any traps there…at least I think so.

basically, you should look ahead, and you’ll notice logs that are a lot slower than the rest. You want these to be as high as possible. You gotta be real quick getting across since the faster falling logs will easily overpass these, and there’s also some waiting that’s involved. It took me a couple tries too.

No, you just have to get across the logs. It can be tricky but you’ll get there eventually. You just have to time everything correctly.

There is at least 1 trap at the first grass/cliff platform. That’s what’s messing me up.

You have to time it. Once in a while a slow log at the start will spawn which will be overtaken by a faster log when it reaches your characters eye lvl. This is the window you want for it allows you to almost keep going to the other side. At the forth log you might have to wait a sec for the 5th quick log if your fast

I found it easier to just go through the cave at the bottom of the waterfall on the far end. first entrance has spikes, but there is a platform to get on and then it seems like free sailing to the top, minus the bears, but you can kill those.

The new platform (a trap in TM) makes it more difficult to go across the normal way. You either have to wait for the logs to line up in a way which happens about every 3 min or do the bear cave like mentioned. That new platform probably did more harm than good.
