Hey all. So I know people are getting past this place, but I’m finding it impossible. From the game being TERRIBLY inconsistent in how the rapids bounce one’s character away, to the water spouts actually damaging me when I try to jump on them, I simply can’t do it. Does anyone have some tips, or are others finding it actually impossible to progress past the alternating spouts?

Don’t fall in the water (no inconsistent bounces).
Learn the patterns.

I… you say that as if you think I misunderstand how the platforms work. I know the patterns, but when I jump on some of then, while they are solid mind you, it hits me and sends me backwards a random distance. The game is simply not being consistent enough to be skill based in any way in this area.

I concur with the OP. I liked world 1 and I really want to do world 2, I’m not bad at jumping puzzles mind you. I have the same problem as OP – some of them look solid but when I try to jump on them they knockback me into water for no reason X.x

EDIT: Okay, so I’ve beaten the river puzzle in Zone 1. It seems that after the checkpoint in the water instead of trying to get on every water platform, on the next waterfall you should try to get to the rocks near turle. From there it is farily simple.
