I hit the dreaded 26/27 feats some other players reported after running through the world 1 zones. Ran through it all again just in case. I was planning to check where each feat occurred then patently forgot about it. I figure you have to hit a specific trigger to get the missing feat.

Go into the first store in zone 1

Trigger EVERY rainbow (like at frog king)

There’s the specific trigger, one of the feats is entering the first shop in the first level.

After getting hit with the 26/27 “bug” myself, I eventually solved mine, and figured out how the achievement works in the process.

How this achievement works is that there are invisible checkpoints throughout the entire World 1 that you must reach. They don’t seem to correspond to any sort of pattern other than the fact that they are all located along the path indicated to you by the pointing fingers.

In my case, the missing point was a location right in front of checkpoint 3 in Zone 2. I’d missed this one originally because while I activated the clouds right up to that checkpoint, I then backtracked and took the Shortcut Wurm which bypassed that spot.

So basically, to ensure that you get all the points for this achievement, make sure you follow the marked path EXACTLY. If a finger points to a shop door, go inside; there is a checkpoint inside that shop. I do not know how this works with the dual routes in Zone 3, but I suspect you need to take the “smiley face” route instead of the “sad face” route. However, follow both routes to their conclusion before facing King Toad to be on the safe side.

The 27th point should come after you reach the bonus round with the Mine Cart, so if you haven’t completed the achievement by that point, you’ve missed something.

Yeah the main things to look out for if your missing one or two of the feats is:

The first shop in the first zone has one on entering

Shortcut worm has one but so does the regular root so make sure to go both ways.

The split path in zone 3 both contains feats so make sure to go both paths

After killing the frog king wait for the warp to the bonus zone this also contains one (this is the one that caught me out)

The rest should be easily obtained just following the marked path/rainbows

I got the achievement without finding the shortcut worm. I’m fairly certain it is not part of the achievement.

I did follow the arrows exactly and got it with no problem. I don’t remember which path I took when it split in zone 3. It’s possible I did both.

You do get a separate achievement for finding the shortcut worm. Maybe that’s what was triggered?

I could have sworn had 2 pop up, one being the worm chieve one being the babys first tier, oh well at least theres more things for people to check if they are missing one.

The worm shortcut is not part of the 27

You don’t need to follow both paths in zone 3. I’ve only ever done the smiley face route and I got the achievement.
