I have a few questions and a suggestion to improve the quality of life of trying to find every bauble ikittenone. First of all, I think the answer to the following questions is “No” (or at least I hope so), but I want something from a developer. The FAQ answers most questions about digging / pots / monsters not counting for baubles, but there are two specific cases I’m unsure about:

• Do the Baubles that Dogbees carry when they lead you to the Queen Dogbee count for the Bauble achievement?
• Do the Baubles that you get from the honeycomb after the Queen Bee count for the Bauble achievement?
• Do baubles in hidden rooms count for the Bauble achievement?

The first question is not obvious to me because you physically see the baubles they carry, so I’m not sure if you have to race and kill/collect or if that counts as a “monster drop” and thus doesn’t count. The second question is tough for me too, because they look like they could be considered a “chest” of sorts, so I’m not sure. I think the answer to the last question is “Yes”, but I’m not sure if hidden rooms count as part of the zone or if they’re an extra place of sorts.

Anyway, onto the suggestion:

• Add a counter to the event text in the top right of your screen for how many baubles you have found over how many you need.

So this would show something like 28/35 or whatever for a particular zone. This way we know how many to look for, and more importantly, when we have missed any and how many we’ve missed. This can be very valuable information that doesn’t detract from the challenge, so I think it’d be good to provide. Thanks!

As far as I am aware:

1. No. (got zone 2 without these)
2. No. (got zone 1 without this)
3. Unsure, have been treating as yes.

At what point do you receive the bauble achievement? Will you receive it prior to leaving a zone? (i.e. if you get to the end of zone 1 and don’t see the achievement – you can go back and collect the missing baubles and not have to start all over?)

I’d like to bump this and throw in my support. Players have no idea if they have all the Baubles before killing the boss. This is problematic because of two things: the Baubles from the boss chest are required for the achievement and once you unlock the Boss chest you have 40 seconds or so of haste and disappointment once you realize that you missed a Bauble somewhere and must do the Zone again. Without any way to keep track of what Baubles count, what Baubles you have, and what Baubles you’re missing, collecting all the Baubles becomes a nightmare.

Day Trooper: you receive it as soon as the boss chest opens. Actually collecting the baubles in there is not required.

I’ll fifth or sixth this recommendation. I’ve carefully gone through and thought I got all the baubles, but apparently missed something somewhere. Very annoying as I have all the other achievements now.
