On NSP I don’t see the event anymore or chests in game. Is this the REAL april fools, or did I miss something lol..

They were there last night after the daily reset, but maybe they change places every day?

I would understand changing places but 3-4 maps and no chests. And no one has seen them in map in the last hour.

Maybe anet got sick of all the complaining and took it out? Shame.

I grabbed several chests earlier this morning

The box is yes. Chests in open world seem to be gone.

I was doing some runs on them just two hours ago… So definitely not gone.

Noooo!!!! Please make the super shiny bauble boxes come back. I really enjoyed them…and I sort of need them so I can buy some bombs and continues and the like in the SAB.

And I literally watched them blink off the map this morning….hope it is just a glitch and they come back.

Wait… I didn’t even see a single one of those boxes. Ever. I thought they stay for the whole month, so I didn’t go and search them yesterday. Does that mean I’ll never get to even see them until next year?

If that’s true, I really hope someone has them on video.

Agree, that’s pretty dang lame if it is gone already. Couldn’t even play yesterday, some of us work ya know Anet.

Was playing in Queensdale on Desolation a couple of hours ago and saw plenty of chests then. Getting back in game now will go check it out.

Yea, glad I farmed em last night for a while. Got about 600 baubles from them too. Gonna miss them laying around Gendarren. I liked that I had a GW2 way to get them as opposed to having to play Zelda. Guess I’m headed into the box tonight <snicker>.

Come on Anet, I was just giving you props for the new content. We want the chests back! Pleeeaaasssee?!

Glorious chests at the end of zones inside the Super Adventure Box are 1 per day per character.

The Super Mystery Boxes in the open world respawned all the time.

It still would have been nice to be able to have more than one day… too bad…. I’ve never been disappointed with the game before, but I am today… :/

Yeah, I’m disappointed too. This is the first time I’ve been excited to play GW2 in a couple of months. They obviously put a lot of time into the Super Adventure Box. I was excited to spend the next month exploring it, trying to get to the end… but I need those little mystery boxes to buy extra lives and hearts. This sucks. =/

Huge disappointment in removing chests from the open world! I’m not into platform games and that is why I bought GW2. I suppose it’s harmless fun for some and they had a win/win going with chests in the open world. Whether cruel April 1st humor or just bad judgement they have once again managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Please bring the chests back, they were awesome!!!

I too am disappointed that the mystery chests disappeared after only a day or two. I went through the jp in Rata Sum just for kicks and giggles solo…taking the infant road.

Unfortunately, I just am not into fighting a bugged setup…so I left when at the end of the run, the cage seemed to be permanently locked.

If there were alternative ways to pick up those baubles, I would not have any issues, but with the chests gone now, I have no alternatives since I dislike those “mario brothers” types of jps.

Cages aren’t bugged, you just need to destroy them (= hit them until they break compeltely, have a health bar) before you can grab the baubles and bauble bubbles. And the infant road doesn’t give bauble bubbles anyway if I’m not mistaken.

To all who complain about the open world chests being gone: next time, read your in-game mail. It clearly stated the open world chests would be there just for 1 day.
