Alright so… I can’t seem to be able to target the boss at all :/
I’ve tried tabbing, I’ve tried clicking, I’ve managed to target him once, but that’s about it. All I can target is his jewelry, I can’t seem to target the boss himself at all to throw things at him

If you’re with a group, ask them to CTRL-T the boss. That way you can press T to assist and you should be able to target the boss without any problems.

I would rather do it solo… but if that’s the only way :/ It would be nice to be able to tab and target, but the only thing I can seemingly target is the jewelry or the frogs on the edges T_T

Try clicking just a bit above his face; it’s easier if you are zoomed all the way out.

I just traded for more continue tokens, and I’m going to give it another shot here in a moment. I can almost say for certain that clicking on his face wasn’t letting me target him. I also just had to restart my client because I couldn’t zoom my camera back in, it would automatically zoom it all the way out possible depending on my location
[I’m not sure if it would cause it, but I clicked the return to Rata Sum button directly after completing the second zone]

Alright, so, (and yes I know, double post)

I CANNOT target our boss here normally. I’ve tried clicking all over his face but I’ve been unable to target him regularly, only once or twice from a random click, and I’ve tried clicking everywhere on his face when I can

Edit for more info:
The ONLY time I’m able to target, is when the arrows appear while he’s lashing his tongue in and out. If I’m currently targeting when the arrows vanish, targeting breaks as well

Edit Edit Edit: Okay, so I’m not entirely sure if my game is working right, but I still beat the boss. Okay so, I could ONLY target before he would do the tongue attack across the board, throwing gems at him did nothing to actually stop him right then and there, I would have to throw a gem, and then wail on him while he was still up, and THEN he would fall. Is that normal?

There are only certain times when you can target the boss.
When the boss looks left/right is when you can start targeting him and after he gets up from being whacked at you will have the option to target the amulet but NOT him!

You cannot target the boss until he is flapping his tongue or is stunned. While he is doing anything else, clicking him will only target his necklace.

Just use tab. If you target a frog in the background it’s not the right time. If tab targets his amulet, it’s time to get a shard to drop off. If tab targets his face, he’s about to open his mouth get ready to throw.
