I’m interested in getting GS personally, should I expect some 8-bit sounds when swinging or something like that ?

I’m loving the shield, it spins and makes a sound when you switch to attack stance and it has blue smoke while you walk :D And when you switch from another weapon set to the one with it, it spins and a blade comes from the sky to form the inscription.
The scepter on the other hand doesn’t have a lot of particle effects, it has just a blue glow in attack stance

Yes, I have the GS and when you wave it around it does have a digital swishing sound, it also makes a sound when sheathed… I suppose it could be similar to a light saber im not too familiar with that whole franchise lol

Also the staff seems to have no sound but the bird on the perch it actually animated which makes it cool

Okay, thanks. I couldn’t quite tell if it was serious or a joke.

A guildie got the greatsword and swooshed it around near me. I only heard some swoosh sounds, nothing lightsaberish. It’s possible you hear your own weapons a lot more, because he was enthusing far too much over the sounds for the subtle woosh I could hear.

Well this makes me even more excited to get more of the Super items. I got the snazzy backpack and of course it makes no sound and has no particle effects….

But I want a sword & shield now that do fun stuff.

All I know is I bought the backpack skin for my Charr Warrior and it looks like total garbage on his back it sits at an angle to my back so its like you just have a box stuck to your back I actually hid it, it looks so bad lol.

I’d really like to know if there’s any special arrow/shooting animation with the super bows. I can’t seem to find an answer to this question and I haven’t seen anyone in game with either of the bows either.

Trying to decide if it’s worth getting one since design wise the bows are the duller of the bunch, IMO.

Thankfully I gave my backpack to my little Asura. It looks good on her. It does sit lower than my Engi backpack kits, but still looks good.

Did it display differently on your character’s back when you previewed it? I’ve heard of that happening.

I have the long bow and did not hear any special sound when firing it.

The shield is awesome on my engineer. Every time I stow a kit, I get the cool animation effect. I <3 it.
