Dungeons should be something like this.
I think they should consult Josh Foreman for future dungeon encounters.
While I don’t think dungeons should have quite as much jumping, Josh and his team seem to have mastered what an enjoyable boss encounter should be.

I agree 100% with this, though slightly less jumping please
This is exactly what I said to my party when we were done with the Toad King. The format of the boss fight could just as well be applied to future dungeon boss fights (kinda like the Iron Forgeman). It makes for a more interesting a unique battle. Success is all about working out and understanding the mechanics.
Also, the whole idea of secret rooms and chests shouldn’t be exclusive to a temporary event like this. It should be carried over to future dungeon content as well.
I’m so surprised that this thing is so much better and more creative than the original stuff, yet put down as something that will only last 1 month.
Here’s hoping that this kind of instance quality is not a one-off thing.
Edit: Also, I love the platforming aspect, but I think it’s good that cloud mode exists for those not interested in that kind of stuff.

+1 this makes running ’em alot of fun, there should be a bit of everything in a dung, small bits of jumping (not too much ofc) ect.
