I saw a couple posts, and have heard from friends that its not exactly obvious if a player actually has the wallet upgrade on a certain character.

What if one simply changed the bauble icon too a different color. Blue too green or something.

that’s a good idea for sure. but if you have a wallet you can’t buy another so that’s what makes it easy

It could just show 100/500 or 100/250 for example.

Too much clutter. Just make it something that shows when you hover over the bauble total.

Yes, I belive making it display xxx/250 would clutter it up too much. Just changing the original color of the bauble too something else then Blue would make it easy to see, and not add any more clutter.

Then again, maybe this have been thought about and the decision was just to have it as is. Might be too luxurious to have an indication that one got a better wallet

On my speed runs. I bought a shovel on my alts. Dug up over 250 baubles on the way. Got the wallet. It basically pays for itself since I get over 360 baubles per speed run collecting all three chests.

There’s really no reason not to have a wallet. Unless you’re delete character farming. Then that’s your problem.

Well all they should really do is make the max be 999 on the next wallet, then keep it there. I don’t think you could hold more than that at a time in a retro game.

I agree, change the bauble color and do a hover-over. Or make it a bauble that has a sparkle on it or something

Until we start expanding beyond 500, then we need to remember… oh wait, that’s easy too.
250 is blue, 500 is green, 750 is yellow, 1000 is red, 2000 is purple (just like bauble values and item quality.)

It does change the color of the rupee though, so why shouldn’t SAB change the color of the bauble?

max bauble count should never exceed 999 as that was the max in retro games. Pretty easy to remember max count when it’s that low. The actual programming number for max on that is 1024, then minus 25 so it’s like why 250 instead of 255 e.t.c. No need for any fix to indicate bauble wallet size that way. Which is why there was never any indication of that in retro games, no need.

But that would mean that at best you can only boost wallet size again in World 2 and 3, but not 4

Well, World 4 is basically at the point where you should have “the bestest gear” and are all set to confront the final boss. An increased wallet size should be meaningless by that point. I’d be happy with a 999 Bauble limit (although I personally hope it’s 1000 since it’d be REAL annoying coming out with 3 Bubbles and 249 Baubles. XD)
