Alright so – Requesting a little information here. I acquired a super shield skin, it’s not the skin I want, but I’m on the fence as to what I’m going to do with it. Before I proceed though, I want to know: How do the rare skins work, are they somehow permanent, or are they a one time use like the green versions?

They work the same way as the skins from Moto, except for the fact that they drop from chests, and are not bound in anyway, meaning you can sell them on the TP.

So they also can only be used once, and then they’re gone for good?

"Gone" in the sense that you no longer have the "put skin on item" item in your inventory, yes. You can keep using the skin, however, via transmutation stones (under 80) and crystals (80; formerly known as fine transmutation stones).

They can be used as many times as you want, but after the first time you need to use a transmutation stone to transmute.
