I am done with GW2
Same, i just called up 4 of my friends who quit playing gw2 months ago. We’re all playing super adventure box now.
Best “done with GW2” thread ever.
Seriously, got two of my RL friends who quit GW2 ages ago to hop back on just for the Super Adventure Box. They LOVED it!
I came to this thread to say good bye to another troll on another stupid thread, but this genuinely made me laugh.
agreed, this update is awesome!

You had me going there, OP. I was expecting a whinefest. Good one.
They should use SAB as a template for future updates, and I’m not saying this sarcastically or anything.
This thread is the epitome of awesomeness.
You sir just made me smile thank you
I play Super Adventure Box now
pathetic get a life
I just did. Cost me a few baubles but it was worth it.
Absolutely best forum post evah! (cleaning the coffee from the keyboard)
Cheers!
i want the cube to stay, its freaking fantastic.
Cube to stay, definitely. Just remove the outside elements.
I have had fun in the SAB as a solo player both on infantile and not. Got to a big bad boss (no spoiler) and could not pass (as yet). Apart from that – good fun!
The SAB is supposedly finishing at the end of the month but, for those that want it, Anet maybe could extend the availability. Each time I have used the SAB the area outside it has been thoroughly crowded!?!
I’m really hoping the popularity of SAB means it stays. Although I loved the Mad King’s Tower and the Wintersday stuff, it made sense that they were only there temporary. It just seems a waste of resources to take the box away again though as there is no lore/timing based reason to do so. To be honest I’d even forgive a little bit of suspension of disbelief if they introduced a “simulation” mode to the SAB and let us play stuff from previous events.
Not cool. I saw thread title and came to troll just to realise ive been punked! grrr
April fools joke’s on me then ahhah.. I didn’t expect that at all
Told a friend who had quit playing GW2 he should come back and try it. He logged in yesterday afternoon and was still in the SAB last night when I logged
Loving it!
the most stupid dungeon in this game is the best and enjoy full dungeon at the same time…ironic no?
ANET could learn a thing or two from this Moto guy. I can’t wait for his next installment.
I’m still on a Gw2 hiatus, but I’ll be playing super adventure box a whoooole lot.

Wow, a bunch of people quit and then came back for THIS?!
I’m finding it hard to believe people are on GW2 hiatus and it’s not even a year yet.

I haven’t played GW2 in 3 days now… all I’m doing is 24/7 SAB. It’s so awesome!
I play Super Adventure Box now
i lol’d, man, at this point a storyline can be written about the super adventure box within gw2, that it’s a type of mind control device warping and enslaving the minds of the good people of Tyria. (seen other people theorize similar epic storylines).
Super adventure box is amazing.

To be fair, Guild Wars has ALWAYS been played like this. Because Guild Wars has an end point. I.e. when you have gotten a character through the personal story (in Guild Wars 1 it was the story missions) and you are happy enough with the characters look (in Guild Wars 1, for most people it meant getting their character prestige armour. In Guild Wars 2 it just means full exotic and possible ascended gear) you can put down Guild Wars and go do something else for awhile.
Usually, most people will come back for special events, when expansions are released etc, etc. Some won’t of course, but the player who don’t return are the ones who don’t like Guild Wars. But it’s a game without a monthly subscription fee and a game that doesn’t necessarily punish you for not logging on everyday. I mean, sure there are the dailies but not getting dailies is not a punishment, especially since you do have to specifically go for the dailies most days. So you can like Guild Wars, loves Guild Wars but still take breaks from it. I think it stops you from burning out personally but that’s just me.
I can barely tear myself away from the SAB to do my Dailies… Help!
Can I have your … oh … nevermind…
^_^
I just got all the achievements myself. Man, some of those baubles were a pain to get!
