Hi, so i recently obtained the Super Sword Skin from on of the chests in Super Adventure Box. I used the skin on a sword i was using at the time because i was told by my friends that i would be able to remove it using a normal Transmutation Stone. I cant remove it and now the skin is stuck on a lesser weapon. Is there any possible way i can remove the skin without destroying it? If someone could please reply i would be soooo greatful.

If the weapon was a Lvl 80 weapon you would need a Transmute Crystal and not the Transmute Stone.

The stones/crystals do not allow you to remove the skin, only transfer it to another weapon/armor of the same type.

like Chrisplosion (awesome name btw) said, you can keep transmuting it to other swords, thus preserving the “skin”. so you needn’t worry about losing it. : )) just be careful when you transmute and don’t accidentally pick any other skin over the super one and you’ll be able to keep it as long as you want.

In order to use the Trans Stone, both swords need to be lv 79 or lower. If even one is lv 80, you must use the Crystal.

If you realy realy reeeaaaly want both skins, I suggest you contact Anet support (mail). But I’m afraid this is a user mistake, and will not be refunded/repaired.

As others have said, you must use a transmutation stone/crystal. You can’t “remove” the skin, but the transmute will transfer the skin to another weapon. You can select the skin of the super sword and the stats of the weapon you want to use.
