Guild Wars 2

As I noted yesterday in another thread, I can’t help but make connections between the “classic video game” theme of SAB and Ernest Cline’s novel Ready Player One, which also touches strongly on the old days of gaming.

If I’m not mistaken, Mr. Cline actually visited the Anet studios while promoting the book, so I’m genuinely curious to know if the novel influenced the decision to create this content in any way. Has anyone heard?
