Given that typically complainers will post far more often than the persons actually enjoying the content - Is it fair to say 9/10 people like/love this content?

Minority haters be gone - this content is awesome (and this is coming from a legendary weilding, multi-geared 80, GW2 lover - that recognizes the need for spvp balance and wvw improvements).

No. Most people who don’t care about this content probably wont post. I’d say most people thought interesting and tried it for 15 minutes or so and then thought meh. I played it for a bit and quickly got bored and wanted to go back to the real game. I find Mario games more entertaining. Good attempt by them to put something different in, but it’s content I could care less for. I would have liked something seasonally themed more.

However, I would have ultimately preferred they put their developer power elsewhere and worked on valuable permanent content. As you said above wvw needs improvements as all of us wvw players know. If they amount of effort they put into these temporary events was put into the actual permanent game content we would already have a significantly better game.

I do have a question for you. Are those that don’t like said content the ones you consider haters? Simply because they don’t like the content and believe that the developers could have better spent their time. I didn’t like the content and found it boring after a while and promptly went back to the actual game. Don’t forget ones out spoken behavior to something that is seen as complaining is in fact someone simply voicing their opinion in hopes that those listening will hear them and do something else. Everyone here is their customer and it’s the customers right to speak out about things they don’t like.

The implication that players who do not like this content are "haters" or infringing upon the fun of those who do like it implies that those players’ opinions are less valid and less important. That’s not a good way to frame discussion.

This thread / your post is hardly the only one doing this, it just happens to be the one I’ve read now and decided to reply to with this comment.

I only hope we all -- those of us who like the SAB and those of us who do not -- can understand each others’ point of view on it and continue having fun adventuring in Tyria together.

It was meant to just be a fun thread, but let’s all get super serious and pretend our opinions are gold.
