Frog chest alway give 2 bauble bubbles and a chance of a skin, once a day. But the other chests drop 2 bauble bubbles, chance of a skin, and extra bubbles.

Destroying the cart after the frog boss makes up for less loot in the frog chest. But shouldn’t the a frog boss chest still have a better reward more than a normal boss chest.

Well, like you said, the cart minigame more than makes up for the lack of baubles in the boss chest. And there’s also the fact that the first time through you get the heart expansion. I think its fine as-is.
