“replaced with a full set”

Is this to mean the current skins will be replaced with new, different skins for the same gear?

There just going to add all of the currently missing skins to the list..

Mace, Pistol, Rifle, Axe .. etc

Id find it hard to believe they would simply scrap the current skins and make entirely new ones for each wep type.

500~ chests opened, 5 skins found. 1 in 100 for me thus far.

well i don’t know how many chests i had opened until now…but one thing i can garantee you…i have 7 chars and I usually run it almost daily (last days i havent done cause i started being bored of no good rewards) with all my chars only the zone 1 and 2 and NEVER had a skin the ones i have i’ve traded with Motto T_T guess im pretty unlucky uh?

Welp, after having been ~60 runs in without a bingo at my last posting (258 chests:5 skins), I figured I’d give up. Went off and did some other things that felt so nice and fresh again after so much SABbing.

But, those “wasted” runs starting bugging me. It’s 1 in 50, right? Right?! So I knew I was due! (Ha!) Grudgingly decided to give my SAB crew of 7 chars one farewell cycle and close the book.

Last guy, last chest—amidst much pessimistic grumbling: Greatsword skin.

Final tally: 272 chests: 6 skins = 2.21%

Miracles. Then again, Universal Balance means I’ll be flattened by a bus quite soon. Nice knowin’ ya.

Hmm well, I have opened over 200 chests and not got a single skin. I have been counting the last 14 days and have been running all 8 toons through first two worlds.
Anything involving RNG in this game has not been kind to me and I know its one factor in a number of my guild quitting/taking a break…reward for effort is just not there. Ive decided just to kill time unitil CoH2 is released.

1-Shield

0.721 Drop rate! That might be just as bad if not worse than a precursor drop rate!

Oh well, when they release the next part I will only play it for the achievement and to buy the few skins I like and thats it, not worth it anymore. Nothing like taking a good thing and ruining it with a crappy RNG system.

My final total was around 250 chests and 4 skins: two staves, a short bow, and a GS this morning on my second-to-last run.

To echo the “crappy RNG system” comment above… I have to agree. Seeing some people do hundreds of chests with no skin reward, while others seem to have picked up dozens of skins, all for doing the exact same content, is pretty bizarre. I understand the need for some element of randomness, but I can also see how coming up totally dry would really kitten off a lot of players.

If those yellow skins are intended to be the prized rewards that everyone’s pining for, maybe throwing in at least a one-time guaranteed yellow drop at the end of World 1 after the frog would’ve been a nice solution… Then maybe it wouldn’t feel so hopeless for those who never got anything or didn’t have hours/days to spend speed-farming on the off chance something drops (or building up enough BBs), while those who still want to farm, could.

I really loved the Super Adventure Box dungeon – thank you for thinking it up and making it a real.

Here is my drop info:
530 chests = 1 Super Greatsword skin, 2 Super Scepter skins, 1 Super Shortbow skin, 1 Super Staff skin, 1 Super Sword skin.

Man, I wish we could just get straight up answers like that about drop rates on other things.

Somewhere around 650 chests for a total of: 6 Super Shields, 5 Super Greatswords, 1 Super Staff, 1 Super Scepter, and 1 Super Short Bow.

The last two I got most recently. I was starting to feel as though skins other than GS/Shield were a myth…
