I’ve been getting flooded with games since summer last year, its been so hard trying to keep up with all my communities and events, to the point that I barely get time to really play any GAME any more.
So a friend of mine kept bugging me to join him in GW2 for “Adventure Box” but refused to tell me what it was until I got inside and spent about five minutes going “What…. WHAT IS THIS?!?”
He spent the next 4 hours running around behind me watching me figure out the jumping puzzles and fighting bosses. It was even better when we pulled a third friend into the middle of Stage two without telling him anything either. I don’t think I’ve had so much fun in the past year! Oh my god!
I think the three of us probably cursed more than we do in PVP every time we fell, but the team work aspects were great, and trash mobs that forced us to do more than jump on heads or use each other to bait the mob someone else could hit it from behind was challenging and fun. We were pretty sad to reach the end of the content, but it was 3 AM by then, we probably wouldn’t have gotten much further anyway with that little sleep.
Really do hope to see more of this stuff, its an amazing project and really brought back a lot of spirit that I think so many games are lacking these days.
