Wow, took out the big rabit, now to find out how to kill the frogs

This is amazing. I’m going to get home tonight and throw money at the gem shop to support this craziness. You guys just have a cinematic artist who felt like making a retro platformer, and made an incredibly difficult (RYTLOCK DIFFICULTY!) and awesome mini-game for people to play.

ANet, this is like the greatest moment of nostalgia of my gaming life. I just can’t help but gush at how sweet this was to discover in the waning hours of my work Friday day, and how excited I am to get home and attempt to beat this in all of its glory. If you guys continued working on this in your “spare” time, I would continue to play it and throw money at the gem store to support it.

Seriously, stand-alone Rytlock’s Critter Rampage game for the computer and you can have 50 bucks for it. I wouldn’t even be mad. If you haven’t tried it yet, guys, give it a shot! It’s great!

Yeah, I am also “stuck” so to say, I manage to jump over the home-seeking carrots though.

By the Gods! It’s just as amazing as it is retro-hard. I love to hate it, just as much as my hardware 8bit collection.

I personally just rushed in after killing the small rabbits and kicked him and got him down before the carrots started.
That was on easy however ^^

Ok, on my first run through I had 1 secret. Now I have 6 secrets(excluding the big rabbit secret)

To kill the rabbit you kick the bunnies as fast as you can, than jump kick the bunny in the face, he should be down to 1 heart, run back and try to dodge those green things(I always fail there) Than go as far left as possible and jump right over the carrots, let him jump over you, repeat process 1 and he should be down

so the frogs insta-hit you when you jump, just run towards them and hit them.
you can smash walls by kicking or falling into them, jumping against the ceiling can brake walls aswell to uncover hiden areas, haven’t found all of them yet, tho

SAving at the quagguns will kep track of your found treasures, potions cost 10 baubles and are used if you lose all your hearts, I think they add 3 hearts

monkeys have leet wallhax and can hit you trough walls!

treasures give all your hearts back!

I also always get hit 1x :-) just try keep minimum 2 heart at that point

Maybe you should consider saving your monetary support until ANet decides to make some real changes and improvements on the actual game.

So how do I get to this minigame? I’m buy the starting point to the SAB in rata sum, but not sure where to go from there

So, Josh… the death animation in this 2D version.. any possibility to see this in GW2-SAB? Make players explode in bright colored confetti when they die? :P

yeah I know, but are there any other ways of finding hidden areas without kicking/jumping?

To beat the frogs you stand just at the edge of their range and do a short hop. They can only do the max height one, while they are jumping rush in and kick them.

If yer on Rytlock mode run back out again and do it again, they’ll get another attack off before you can hit them again otherwise.

Beat it on Rytlock and found all treasures. Does a screenshot count as a wizard license now?

This is amazing. Just beat it with all of the chests found, and that ending screen was just great. Amazing job.

Hire hundreds of employees and spend years creating an amazing mmo game.

I hate my life just a little bit more than I did 20mins ago. Though I’m not sure what the alternate endings are. I assume one will be Ironman, and the other Timed, or something similar.

I would have preferred them to make the kick more responsive. It’s very frustrating, and I’m not sure if it’s intentional.
