Guild Wars 2

Every time when I start a new dungeon, I am forced to watch the cutscenes even when I have watched it for a lot of times. Is it possible to add a skip button like all other cutscenes?

Or at least let us hit “B” to speed up the text >.>

One of the very few annoyances in this otherwise awesome minigame

In the live stream they did earlier today devs said they knew that ppl would hate the no skip option. But they chose to do it anyway and like it this way. Most likely bc it’s true to old school games. And to get a lol at farmers.

On the one hand I agree it would be nice if we had a skip option but on the other it doesn’t really take too long and it is quite atmospheric.

This is old school gaming we’re talking about. There was hardly any cutscene skipping then. We all just sat through them.

True to the badly designed ones, anyway. I hated forced cut scenes that wasted my time back then, and I still hate them now. It makes me think less of the designers every time I run into one.
