The cool thing about our team is that we’ve got ages ranging from over 40 to mid-twenties. And that collaboration gives us a huge range of memories and great classic game experiences to draw from. I know I’ve learned about a ton of old games I had never played and some I had forgotten about.

A roguelike mode with randomly generated floors that can be done in groups.
Pong? Am I the only one who would like to see some kind of game like that in the SAB?
What about some kind of bomberman like section?
Could tetris be something? Not exactly sure how but, just throwing out an idea.
Tetris is kinda already in it. The blocks float around in the very first part of SAB, when you have to give Moto the coin. You can’t do anything with them, which is kinda of a shame. It would be really cool if we had to pickup pieces of environment and build something out of it (like making a ramp or something).

I have an idea for a game mode called “Beat the bookah”.
How it works is, we Asura are given bats and we hit bookahs with them.
That’s all I got so far, but it sounds fun!

Well why not have a summoned dragon that shoots bubbles like in Bubble Bobble?
I’d actually like to request a bit less of the ultra-precise platforming. The camera in GW2 isn’t ideal for that kind of stuff, as anyone who wrestled with the camera bumping into even the tiniest of leaves can attest.
I’d like to imagine that a 2D side-scrolling stage or two could be pretty novel, as well as being an even more obvious retro throwback — think of something like the sidescrolling stages of the Super Smash games.
Or what about a haunted castle or clock tower where you use your whip to look for hidden turkey legs inside candles or stone walls? Of course, this would mean making the whip actually useful…
Or even a dungeon crawler maze mode where you’re captured and have to recover your equipment from your jailers. It could even be pseudo-randomized by creating a bunch of smaller blocks or segments and having the player randomly teleported or moved through a certain number of them, kind of like how the fractals are.
Or… imagine this: (uematsu_meme.jpg) a shooter level where your character and camera are fixed to looking straight ahead while you shoot your way through levels reminiscent of Contra’s second level… and a boss that goes bullet hell mode like the Sovereign Eye of Zhaitan! Let’s attack aggressively.
My best idea yet: A stage where you escort an NPC with really bad AI that you can’t control, and often charges into enemies and dies. And if he dies you have the start the whole stage over. We’ll name him Mhenlo or Togo.
Well, whatever you folks come up with, it’d be cool to go, “wow, is this really the same game?”
how about pvp inside the super adventure box, and even the chance to be on the side of Lord Vanquish? Having our characters face each other inside the SAB sounds doable and fun. Since everyone is equal it sounds like a blast, and going inside mazes to ambush your enemies sounds neat.
How bout something where you have to destroy the walls in front of you while a tank tries to ram into you from behind, and the only way to stop it briefly is by hitting it? (Free cookie to whoever gets the referance).

I find it funny how people call it SSB64 these days. A homerun bat or lightsaber would be awesome, most of the content in SSB is a reference to the nintendo games.

I thought it was 8-bit only though and not 16, or 64.
In Rytlock’s Critter Rampage I think there should be Castlevania II for nes style of upgrades available to him. And he looks alot like a werewolf!
