Running World 1, Zone 2 on my guardian, broke down the cage boss and got a Super Staff skin, so I can confirm that you get skins from any of the boss chests

World 1, Zone 1 the chest inside the chest. Got rare version of the staff skin.

Yes they are the exact same skins. Also “lol @ people buying them”… so? Some people don’t want to run the thing 20 times to get the 12500 baubles total needed to purchase a skin. Some people want the skin on multiple characters. I know I’ve fallen in love with the skins and personally want GS on my War, Mes, Guard, Ranger. I want the Sword on my Mes and Thief. Backpack on my Engi. Shield and scepter for Guard. Staff for ele. That’s 10 skins. There is no way I plan on farming that many. I’d rather just farm 2 or 3 and buy the rest. Currently buy orders are filling for like 10g on some items so why bother grinding the skins when I can just buy them for dirt cheap.

Actually lol at you cause I didn’t have to spend 3 hours getting 50 of them. All I did was invest some gold in the TP, went off and “had fun PLAYING THE GAME” like normal while I was waiting for my gold to come in.

I played the box for a run through for the kicks of doing it but I’m not gonna do it again just to get a skin I can get for some gold that I can make back with little effort on the TP while still playing the game like normal.

There’s no way you got 50 Baubles in 3 hours…

The thing is that those on the TP are actually tradeable, whereas the ones you can buy with the bubbles aren’t. I invested some gold and lost about 25gold buying them (too early), but I’m quite sure they’ll be a lot more expensive once the event is over. Sword, Greatsword and Shield don’t look to shabby, so I guess they’ll range at the same price as the chainsaw in some months.

How can you get 50 Baubles in 3 hours ? It’s kinda impossible because i’ve only got like 4 and pretty much did everything inside. Anyone know the rate drops on those ? Per day ?

Seems like it’s gonna take the full month to get even one skin. Think I’ll just farm some fractals/dungeons and buy them with gold on the TP.

Run the open world chests. I’ll pick up about one skin per day without killing myself. Unlike the Wintersday rewards, the baubles are instanced, so everyone around can get them.

Yea I got 110 bauble bubbles in about 10 mins from open world chests. Which means I can easily get 500 needed for 2 baubles in an hour. 50 in 3hrs? Don’t think so. But it shouldn’t take too long.

I can understand buying the skins off the TP, but for the not-so-rich people out there (aka me), hold off on buying them for a day or two. As more and more people do the adventure box, there will be more skins available, and the price will go down. Supply goes up demand goes down (since people will be able to get 50 baubles and buy their preferred skin), and prices drop.

speed run 3 zones = 6 baubel baubels. takes about 15 minutes once you have it down. repeat on 9 characters. 3 hours is about right. you just need to have a lot of alts.

Also it was open before daily reset, so you could theoretically have done it on 5 characters.

That’s also not counting exchanging normal baubels.

How come these topics derail so often in people arguing who is playing the game more correct than the other?

One uses gold he has farmed, another farms the baubles… and yet one says the other is doing it wrong and didn’t have the ‘real’ fun playing the game.

Sell price on the Greatsword is 30, offer is at 24

Sell price on the Long bow is 8 offer is 5.

Everything else is somewhere in between. Other than the 5, the other offers on the bow are all 3.5 or lower, so I expect more of a drop.

With “open world chests” you mean chests in every PvE zone, like in Queensdale wolf cave, harpy den or JP chests? These drop the weapon skins too?

I think he means the chests that appear in open world that spawn the bunnies, monkies and frogs. I knew they dropped baubles but is it confirmed to drop weapon skins? If so I expect these prices to level out around 5-15g.

Oh yeah, just after writing that post I ran into one. Just baubles for me so far, would be nice to have a confirmation on if they actually drop skins too.

I actually love doing speed runs in games. It’s a new challenge. Many games have achievements for that sort of thing too. I regularly do speed runs of jumping puzzles I like, I try to run without pausing once, and keep swiftness up at all times. Whats great about the adventure box is you can create your own challenges.

And what’s even more funny about this situation. That dude bought his skin at the peak of their price, they’re dropping like mad now.

So there are additional chests out in open world (like the doors for halloween, and presents for wintersday)? So which chests drop the skins? The final chest(s) ‘in ’a ’zone, the chest(s) that requires a key (’in ’a ’zone), and/or these chest(s) in the open worlds? (or do all have a chance to drop a skin?)

Apparently it doesn’t like ’in ’a ’zone without the quotes. Why is the filter catching it?

I had a weapon skin drop in world 1 zone 1 after killing boss over cage. inside chest there I got the super shield skin.

Almost positive the weapon skins only drop from the chests at the end of each zone

If you are playing in a group of 5 does everyone get different loot or do you compete for drops?
