…of content done right!

I am so impressed by this content. They created buzz and excitement perfectly with the subtle addition of Moto, and the coins dropping from chests. Then, the absolutely amazing 8-Bit theme song change which further drove curiosity.

But, the content itself, well….that’s what I call awesome.

The reason is that in addition to the high level of polish and professionalism, the game itself was designed with all players in mind. My girlfriend and I were able to finally do an instance where we felt like we belonged.

So much content in this game is simply off-limits to us because as casual gamers, we don’t have the manpower, or the means to take part in most of the extra content (dungeons, guild missions). The SAB felt so much different from the first second we stepped in.

The game allowed us to choose our comfort level, and adjusted perfectly to our level. We felt challenged, without it being frustrating. We were able to take our time and enjoy the world without being insta-killed by ridiculous mobs.

Whoever designed this deserves some serious kudos. I really hope the overwhelmingly positive feedback is enough to show ANet that when you consider every player, and concentrate on fun instead of making money, you can create game content that will become instant classics.

That said, I’m off to explore the Super Adventure Box.
