Guild Wars 2

You know, the spot in the last major area (before the king toad checkpoint) of Zone 3. Left hand side through that little side passage, past the long vertical tree full of bouncy mushrooms. You keep jumping the small rocks over the poison, end up finding a few barrels with incincibility power ups, a single monkey, and at the very end a ledge. The music changes to the Zone 2 music on the ledge, then beyond that there are some tricky mushroom jumps (regular platform mushrooms, not bouncy ones) that get you back up into the treetop.

It seems like there should be something of interest there. A secret, a dig spot, an easter egg, something. But there’s not. Definately no secret since we already know the locations of all of those. No dig spot as far as I can tell. The difficult jumps after don’t even lead to anywhere you can’t normally get to.

Why is it there? Why does the music change? Is there supposed to be something there, or is it just a random “fake” secret area?

Moto’s Breath is on a platform you can get to by going through the tree with all the bouncy mushrooms.

I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about NOT going through the tree. You go to the area where you’d normally climb the tree, but instead of climbing it you just keep jumping the rocks, stumps, and mushrooms on the bottom. You eventually hit a wall, a ledge where the music changes, ect.

I see. Thanks for the insight Josh. Not as exciting as I was hoping, but a reasonable explanation. I think the music change is what really got me thinking there must be something more to it, darn bugs screwing with my head.
