Why SAB: Home Edition is the best option
Wow, this sounds like an awesome idea
Perhaps for those who want a permanent SAB let them buy it and store it in their home instance.
Now if only there were other ways to make the home instance more homey.
That’s actually a great idea. I’d like more reasons to visit the home instance. That said the Super Adventure Box would need to be finished before they make a home edition, we’re technically beta testing it right now
Agreed. Home instance REALLY needs to be beefed up. I have had no reason to go there since I completed my personal story.
Wouldn’t that actually split up the community even more?
Is that what the NPC voiced by Sam Regal has been trying to talk Moto into? Becuase that would make sense…
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
I would love that, but I don’t want to support The Consortium at the moment. I have a bad feeling about them.

Moto Refuses to sell the Super Adventure Fun box, so it would probably require some sort of quest line or something to make him want to give it up.

Not really, it’s not like you can hang out in the home instance. If you wanted to LFG you’d do it in Lion’s Arch.
I don’t like this idea. There’s a reason why adventurers need adventuring, and that is keeping them fit and healthy. There is also the risk of character-obesity. If your toon plays too much of SAB, they won’t be fit to fight the next elder dragon. And the cost of waypoints would be double!
Also, the risk of carpal-tunnel syndrome would be devastating to the adventurers of Tyria, which leads to the danger that Tyria might face. I posit that Moto is really an acolyte to one of the elder dragons in Tyria…
Subdirector Klien actually discusses this concept with Moto now, don’t know if he’s always done that or not ^^

I agree. Next thing you know, they’ll allow Charr and Asura to MARRY. Abomination I tell ya’! Goes against my beliefs in the Latter Day Church of Balthazar.

Can’t be as bad as the Westlight Temple of Dwayna. Those guys will cheer at people dying to Risen…
Well, obviously. Clearly Dwayna is angry at Kryta for tolerating those plant people and their obscene sexual practises. Did you know that farmers are now starting to hire those deviant vegetables during planting time, stealing the jobs from fine, upstanding, Six-fearing humans? It’s no wonder that Dwayna is sending Her Risen acolytes – which are probably that way in penance for Orr’s crimes – to punish the nation of Kryta!
And let’s not even get started on what they get up to in Lion’s Arch…
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.
1. It will give people a reason to enter their personal home instances.
2. It doesn’t split the community between Rata Sum and Lion’s Arch.
3. It keeps the old school gaming feel. Pretty much anyone who owned a pre-internet gaming system knows that you had to invite friends over to your place if you want to get any co-op done.
I’m not sure I agree with your idea. I like the fact the SAB spits the community between Rata Sum and Lion’s Arch.
I think every city needs mini games like the SAB. So the Community is distributed evenly among all the cities.
The way it is now players can find groups easier, because all player races are in one spot. But in your idea you would only see players of your own race waiting outside your home instance.
moto mentions that he’s testing it in rata sum but the and implies it could be in other places

If it is in other places, I hope the games are different in each of them.
Ex:
SAB 1. adventure game
SAB 2. Fighting game
SAB 3. Doom like Shooter
