Tired of getting stuck and snared by the plants? Use your torch to burn them. Doesn’t work on the flytraps but everything else is fair game.

Also, torch can be purchased for free at the shop near the first toxic water part, where the shopkeeper is standing outside his shop and talking about the strange water.

There is one place you can’t avoid getting stuck without Infantile Mode – that first checkpoint where they’re right at the edge of the cliff and too tall to burn.

You actually can avoid getting stuck. Stand on the ground below the edge, then jump up and use your candle/torch. With the right timing of the skill usage, you will burn the plants without ever touching them – I did this myself yesterday. (alternatively, you can jump from the pillar such that you don’t land on the edge, but go down right by it, and again with proper skill timing burn them)
