I’ve found a rare super shield skin, but I don’t notice any difference when I compare it with the masterwork one that Moto offers in Rata Sum.

Is there any difference? Or are they the same skin?

One can be sold on the TP for a lot of gold while the other can’t.

The masterwork skins are the ones that can be found in the chests while playing the SAB and as pointed out already can be sold on the TP. The rare skins are the ones that you must buy using your baubles and are account bound upon purchase and can’t be sold on the TP

So they are indistinguishable besides that, am I right? O_o

Correct, they are visually the exact same, they only differ in acquisition method.

master work skins (account bound) = 1 gold + bauble bubbles from Moto vendor.
rare skins (able to sell/buy on TP) = drop from the cage/toad chest.
