Hi,

I have 10/12 of the achievements completed and am after advice on the best way to get the other two and also maybe looking for mesmer help.

I have not done Blackout cache or Madcache. To do either I would need to hire a mesmer to portal me through the lot, as I am a horrible jumper. (Rainbow kindly assisted me to the start, but I glitched when I feel and couldn’t get back).

Are any of the dungeon achievements easy to get?

Is anyone willing and able?

You get 2 achievements just for finishing the dungeon (along with 1 for saluting horrik) and then there’s a talk to Mai achievement that will be available tomorrow.

How long does the dungeon take and do you need a team. I have tried searching, but for some reason, it keeps saying there are no results, to everything I am searching.

It will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 5 hours. And yes, you need a party.

Thanks to Bryn Darkheart for his patience in portal-ling me through you rock! One more achievement to go.

Some time today you will be able to talk to Mai Trin (assuming you don’t have to have completed the dungeon to do that). Hopefully that will count as well.

SO tell me more about how you want an achievement without having achieved anything at all?
If there were an achievement for killing a hyper hard boss and you couldn’t kill it because you are a mediocre player, so you would ask another player to kill him for you and let you lend the final blow just to get the achievement?

Shapeshifter, if Mai Trin doesn’t count for your 12/12, and if you are NA, I can try helping you to Mad Cache tonight (maybe around 7 pm Eastern but ping me if you see me in game sooner). I’m not a great jumper myself but I’ve learned a few tricks and come to understand game jump physics so I can coach you, and I know Goemm’s pretty well. Also I have a Mesmer to get you past the rough spots.

I’ve only run it once, but we didn’t wipe through the whole run, so we should be okay… Hopefully I can remember the tricks well enough to help us get through! If nothing else, it sounds like Donari knows the ins and outs of this thing, hehe.

Hi Donari, thank you for replying and kind offer. I managed to get the Mad Cache last night with the very helpful Bryn Darkheart. I will look into Mai today, it would be amazing if I could wrap it up simply by chatting to her
