A solution to the Achievement Complaints
Well not in fractal, make it like in WoW. A special place where you can do old run (Time…. Cavern). Of course the end dungeon reward, some loot is removed.
No, bc I’m guessing the whole point is that the achievement is only meant for people who have the skill to do it sometime in the next two weeks. It’s just a few achievements with no other rewards other than achievement points, so the world isn’t going to crumble if you don’t get them.

This is the issue – it’s not personal skill that is the problem here, it’s group skill. We wiped on the first boss earlier, and I spent a good 5 minutes solo happily dodging the third laser phase. Ultimately I was only tickling the golems, so I suicided for another attempt.
With Personal Space, the commonly accepted pug tactic is to all stack on top of Mei and eat the AoEs. If you’re trying to do the achievement, it’s to the detriment of your group. This is fine if you can organise a decent group of people to get it done, but with two weeks on the clock it’s a substantially harder feat especially since a run takes upwards of two hours.

What’s the problem with it being a group skill? This is an MMO; a social game. Get together your guildies with the intention of getting the achievement. It’s not impossibly difficult, since others have managed it, and again, if you can’t get the achievement, are you really missing that much?

I’ve completed every event achievement up to this point, so yes. I am.
I can only play between 10pm and 10am, so I am completely limited to Pugs. If I could get a guild group going to grind it for a good few hours I would, but I cannot.
In 3 weeks or so I will be able to play 4pm-2am which would be fine, but that’s too late.
I’ve completed the dungeon a few times all in pug groups since I am a solo player. In fact, with one of the groups, it was 4 people from a guild in Mumble (I wasn’t in Voice Chat since I was the pug) and I saved them on the last boss since they all died and called GG. I proceeded to tank, mitigate and res 2 of them without going below 75% health (I run full zerk). From there, I helped them res the other 2 and we finished the fight easy peasy.
As for the first boss, it’s just a matter of understanding his fights. It’s really a good boss fight. First, you get one laser wall, somewhat easy to avoid once you figure it out. Then you get another wall which you have to avoid with a different method. THEN you have BOTH walls, which you have to dodge incorporating both methods.

The dungeon is fine, this is not what I’m complaining about. It’s the achievements related to that. Don’t hit the laser walls, last boss in under 15 minutes, and don’t get hit by any AoE on the last boss. All three of those are incrediblty difficult if you’re trying to pug the dungeon, prohibitively infact.

This is a problem that will never be changed with ALL MMOs that have time-exclusive events. You’ll find that MMOs can be exclusive to people who have real life commitments. Because of real life, I’ve missed out on 80% of Flame and Frost and ALL of Secret of Southsun, and, as much as I would’ve loved to get those achievements to catch up with the rest of the higher ranks in my guild, I’ve realized that there’s nothing I can do about it.
Timer-based events and their content on MMOs run on the assumption that you have the time to take part in them. If you can’t accept this, maybe you should pursue a more realistic goal. You can’t achieve everything.

The developer literally intended for only around 2% of players to beat that lol

Clock tower was personal skill and it will be back later this year.
This is group skill and is one time only.

Developer’s thoughts while making the clock tower: “Oh yessssss, delicous, I can just see the complaining on the forums already…”
While it was easy for me bc I happen to be good at jumping for some reason, I will admit that thing was EVIL
