Best dungeon yet!
Definitely need more content dungeons like this, real solid use of Guild Wars 2’s engine.
‘sniffsniff’ i smell sarcasm
This is much better direction. Future dungeons could still be harder.
Love this dungeon <3
The lazier fight was so EPIC !!!!!

Incorrect Crovax, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Fun, challenging and interesting.
One of the best dungeons they’ve put out yet
yeah this is awesome – hard enough to be a challenge, short enough to not take all night. I thought it was really good fun
Need more like this that cant be farmed / facerolled
Keep the good work up ANET!
I LOVE this dungeon!
We couldn’t finish it this evening, but we are defenetly going to do it next time.
We had so much fun trying to figure out how those bosses work and whats the best way for your group to beat it.
Group play was a big deal, so you made a step in the right direction!
Update 5.9.2013: getting better ANet, still way to go!
A Lannister always pays his debts – For everyone else, there’s Mastercard.
Have not tried it yet but if its anything like MF i’m sure it will be great.
I love this dungeon. I wish fractals had more dungeons too.
This one is fun.
Always Loyal
I love some new mechanics, BUT… the last fight is to hard for a pug
Finished this dungeon with a pug. Even had 2 weaker members (skill wise not level wise) but after some practice we were able to do it.
Probably my favorite dungeon yet. The last boss fight is a little long though, that is the only thing I would change.
Sorry, really hated this one. I’m all for decent mechanics, but this was a bit OTT for my liking (spike damage for 15k by final boss for eg, and gaining conditions too quick to cure).
I appreciate the need for elite players to have something difficult, but maybe an easier story and harder explorable?
F&F one was considreably better in my opinion
It is a step in the right direction in terms of using mechanics and not pure dps though.
Glad ppl are enjoying it!
Took me 4 hours but i liked it
Well kitten if it wasn’t the hardest and most frustrating one ever, but it kicked kitten The inquest boss was by far the best boss fight in GW2 yet! (Few bugs but hey, who actually expects Anet do create bugfree stuff anymore. )Took me and the guildies quite a long time but it was worth it. Thank you for this dungeon!
I am having a really hard time beating this dungeon. I have read a few threads, and a lot of people say it is easy. I wish that I could say the same. Getting to Frizz is not a problem, but how do you beat him? The electric beam plus the wall and golems? I have tried 4 times, and spent most of the day failing. since it is so easy can somebody please let me know some tricks on how to beat it?

Finished in a full pug group in about an hour. Died I think 3 times on the final boss.. in my book not too shabby.
The dungeon was fun until I got to the end boss and couldn’t get into the room

There’s a strategy in the dungeon forum for doing both bosses.
I got quite infuriated by it, but largely because I’m not very good at jumping mechanics (plus I was too tired and grumpy to properly coordinate toight!). Avoiding the lasers is mostly a case of jumping on the boxes to avoid the lower laser and running from the upper. Nuke the golems, job done.
Establish a rhythm and hopefully you should be OK
spike damage for 15k by final boss
Have you tried double tapping your movement direction keys for a dodge roll? That might help.

Well, then, I wonder if these posts in chat were serious?
I completely agree, more stuff like this and Molten Weapons Facility. This stuff is great.
Less stuff like Canach.
There are a few really strong design principles at play in the dungeon that should be applied in the existing dungeons:
1. Condition removal is a necessary thing. You actually need to use non-damage utilities.
2. DPS is not king. It will make certain parts of the dungeon go faster, but mastery of the mechanics – dodging the lasers, getting the shields off of Mai – is more important than blowing the doors of enemies dps wise. Golem fight particularly hits the traditional high-DPS melee-ers with a premium on range. (Not saying all encounters need to punish melee or anything, just that many boss encounters should not be like slave driver/searing effigy.)
3. Trash actually can give half-way decent drops. The aetherized metal scraps can drop charged cores when salvaged.
4. Trash mobs actually feel different. The big hammer dudes knock you over, and the little knife people throw dowkittenllion bleeds in a flash.
If I could change it, and this is true of GW2 dungeons in general, I would like for the dungeon to be able to be completed faster by people who are better at it, but not better solely in the sense of “HURR DURR MOAR DEEPS” – better in terms of the mechanics of the dungeon. Imagine during the cannon sequence, for example, that in addition to standing there a set amount of time dodging, there were also a way turn off the cannons by having someone jump along a JP-style set of platforms off to the side, all the while dodging cannonballs that would knock you to your death if hit. If you were good, you could get through that sequence faster, but you’d be taking a risk. Reward skill, but in a more interesting way than maxing DPS.
Anyway, I like the direction they’re taking but we need to get some of the living story folks back in the plain old dungeons to give them some flair!
Love this dungeon. Laaaaav eeeet.
Painbow.6059: Ignore what anyone else who doesn’t agree with me has said because its wrong.
Oh yes it’s very fun as a dungeon… The bosses, are not… Pets break the first fight (yet again, what a surprise -_-)… And then pulls, that cant be dodged, that oneshots you… Yea that’s SUPER fun… NOOOT…. First boss is 100% luck to beat, and luck, is not fun in any way….
I loooove this dungeon. It’s cool to see dungeons like the Molten Facility making a return. I hope these little mini one-time dungeons you’re putting out will be smushed down and converted to fractalized versions of their current selves at one point.
Loved it. Beat the first boss on our 2nd try. We wiped during the third phase on our 1st run. We beat the 2nd boss on our first try but we almost wiped on that last bombardment. Getting the (light) monocle just made the victory all the more sweeter.
AWESOME DUNGEON
Yup, love the dungeon. Tried it twice, it bugged both times.
I’d put it below Molten Facility, but it’s pretty amazing.
Fantastic dungeon! As if it was a nod to the challenging parts of Molten Facility. That was definitely some of the most fun I’ve had in the game. So pat yourself on the back, team that worked on this dungeon. You’re all the kittens.
I did enjoy it until the final boss. It’s not bad, but the cannons last forever.
Other then that it was fun.
Heavens Rage
Amazing dungeon. The aesthetics and bosses were top notch. I especially liked the 1st boss and how each of the phases built off itself ending in a very face paced phase. The 2nd boss was also very interesting, though it would be nice if the health decreased a little because it does take quite a bit of time (and the main mechanic is dropping shield stacks, not really doing damage to her).
This dungeon would make a great addition to FotM and I hope future dungeons are the same high quality as this and MF (though imo the in-between parts of AR are much more interesting than the ones in MF).
Tyr Sylvison – Warrior
Illyiah – Revenant
I loved the dungeon. My only problem with it is that I had to use an alt (my necromancer) to complete it because turns out that I couldn’t make my ranger (my main character) useful in any way while trying to do it.
Other than that, the dungeon is awesome. I liked the Molten Facility better because of the dialogues, though. I miss Rox and Braham and I really do not like Kiel at all.
Astrid Strongheart, Norn Ranger.
“I wish juvenile wolves were bigger”
This dungeon is a huge sigh of relief after their last. Canach’s lair felt like a huge step back after the Molten Facility, and although it was just a boss fight, we really needed one to rival MF’s encounters and length.
Homerun indeed. Gj Anet
This is exactly what I want to see in updates. Soooooo much fun.
As an asura, I do this all the time.”
I didn’t really like it tbh… seemed too much like another copy of the Molten Facility (which I preferred).

I like the difficulty of this instance also. Thank you.
