The devs think that the difficulty/length warrants a full 1 gold reward plus regular dungeon completion silver for every run. I’m guessing the groups that frequent here can get it down much faster than they think. It’s not apparent how much time gating there is going to be, but MF was down on 30 minutes easy, so I expect the same for this.

Ok I’m not gonna watch for the full hour because it’s painful, but the twitch tv channel has a dev going through it as a preview. Based on their performance, yeah I’m callin 25 minutes or so.

2 days later anet releases a patch and instead of 1g you’ll be getting a juicy 15silver, yay can’t wait

New dungeon? Sounds like a place to test out my newly buffed ele.

Depending on the number of gated events and the placements of mobs in relation to walls and corners, I would think around 30 minutes once people figure out what to do, probably around 15 minutes if people discover some big exploit (that will be patched when they cut out that 1g reward).

My brother and I were talking about it… We’re betting 20-30 mins.

Except Canach was not a dungeon nor was it ever advertised as one. But Yes, I do agree 30 mins will be the average time for speed runs. Time to go get into my CoF farming gear for this.

from what I saw on the live stream, it will take 10-15 minutes for skilled organized groups to kitten it into pieces.

I also foresee a rewards nerf patch coming tomorrow

Molten facility was a far more difficult and longer dungeon than this one is at least from what they showed on the live stream.

Assuming that there are no silver drops from secondary bosses along the run, 1G reward for completing the dungeon seems appropriate.

Think about it: in a single run of Arah or CoE nets you almost a gold worth of straight cash drops from all the bosses along the path,

yeah but there is no monocle drop I foresee a lot of stinking MF leechers going in.
I hate those they contribute nothing and get all the goodies kitten off MF leechers !

Molten facility had a lot of timed events a bit like AC Path 3 burrows you couldn’t speed up at all.

Which is also why I hate this part from AC path 3. No matter how efficient you are at destroying the burrow you’ll have to spend as much time as a group that is struggling while destroying them.. this is truly terrible dungeon design and something that should’ve changed with the AC revamp….

Monocle only comes from the chest though, right? Of course you should be gearchecking and kicking MFers anyway…

Yeah the reason why i didn’t do molten facility was that sloooooooo…. to be continued… …ooow burrowing event right after killing those few mobs at start. I just said screw it, went afk and never came back.
