I finally figured out a way to beat Frizz’s Phase 3 or at least give you a better chance of beating it then how it is right now!

However, trying to explain it would be too complicated… =_=
And the odds of it working would be minimum unless everyone in the party is able to listen….

I’ll try to explain what I figured out.

So the low beams add the shields. This is the big issue since shield = invulnerable = no kill.
The wall beams make them stronger.

Got that so far? Essentially, no low beam touch = no shield = killable.

Now, here’s the complicated part.
So… the low beams, move faster, then the wall beams.
BUT, if you stay near the middle of the room, you can move just as fast/faster then the low beams, enough to keep them in front of you.
Now, you do this, and keep the golems behind you, you can do damage to them!
But now the issue is the wall beams! Here’s what I figured…

Eventually, the low beam will catch up to the wall beam. Don’t try and dodge roll through the wall beam… trying to dodge roll the same direction a beam is going usually results in death. SO… what I figure is… once the low beam passes through the wall beam, the party backs up and dodge rolls through the next incoming low beam and follows it now, passing the golems, who then follow you and then can take damage. Since once the low beam reaches the wall beam, the room would be split 180/180 so it’s like its resetting!

Got that?
Will have to try it out… see if it works.
The problem is though, people would need to listen.

Gonna join a group and test this theory… need to calculate in things like
“When you dodge roll through the low beam, will you have enough space to avoid the incoming wall beam?”
and
“The golems will have to pass through the low beam that you roll through… will their shields fall quick enough to do some damage?”
As well as
“What if a golem pulls you during this process?”

You can jump on the boxes to avoid the low beams. Just stay on top of the boxes that are lying around, wait for the low beam to pass, and keep running in circles after that.

You will also need one or two people with party stability, to prevent the gollems from pulling you off the boxes.

I was thinking about the boxes yes, but at the same time I think the boxes on stage 3 would be a problem.
I’ve watched a lot of times people would try to jump on the boxes but slide off a ledge or not jump right or something, and get caught in the beams. Happened to me once too.
So I think ignoring the boxes and just moving with the beams would be best for stage 3 since it’d just add a complication
“Oh where’s the boxes! I need to get on the boxes to avoid this beam!”
Me- “Just dodge roll through it!”

It’s usually how things go, lol.
I sit there sometimes in games, watch people call out these “plans” that have all this finesse to them and everything… but in reality the solution is “Hit it till it dies”.

Course life has made me a realist in a sense so while my plan could work I know that when I tell people to “Do as I do” and such the end result will be
1- One guy won’t listen, try to get on the boxes and get pulled by the golems and die.
2- One guy won’t be able to keep up and keep caught in the beams behind us.
3- Another will suck at dodge rolling.

And so on and so forth….

Wait – so you can dodge-roll through the beams? I asked about this last night and was told ‘not unless you want to lose a bunch of health lol.’

And by dodge-roll I assume you mean without taking damage? (and therefore being able to get the ‘Faster Than Light’ achievement?)

I believe we tested dodging through the wall and it does not work. Everyone was trying all their abilities, leaps, blinks, dodges, etc. The only option seemed to be complete avoidance.

As far as I can remember you can dodge roll the beams that you can also avoid by jumping onto the boxes, but not the walls, they will damage you regardless of dodging or not. But no guarantee on that one.
In addition I found it interesting, that if a golem pulled me through a beam or wall, I usually got no damage. If it pulled me right in front of it though, well that’s a different story…

If you happen to stumble across any typos,
you may keep them to rear new and interesting variants in your basement.

It’s possible to dodge roll the lasers as long as you get lucky with your timing and somehow get through as none of the rather quick pulses go off. It’s not reliable at all, and I wouldn’t recommend doing it.

I’m going to continue using the boxes, as it only takes two quick jumps to get up, with more than enough time for 4-5 tries unless you cut it close.

It is possible without stability I have never used it for the fight and do not die. Just use the boxes and keep running from the larger lasers. I am so surprised by the amount of posts on this fight!

And yes use the boxes lol seriously low beam up on a box jump over it run around the room avoiding the large beam and hit the golem as you go.

Agreed that box jumping is the most reliable method on this.

Blink works to avoid both the walls but you have to use it sparingly. The wall operates similar to a beam of damage. It does high damage over time, so the faster to get across it, the less damage you take, the best way if you have to go through a wall is to dodge roll through it (if that is your last option) staying in the center can be dangerous because if you by chance get pulled there without stability, the beams will steam roll over you really quick and your hp will be gone before you can read the end of this p

A good way to do the boxes, is instead of trying to get onto the top of them, jump onto the lower boxes and they will give you enough height so that you can jump over the the low lazer beam.

Dodging does work. It has the same mechanics as the bubble with Lupicus though. You have to dodge so that the exact middle of your dodge animation is when you will hit the beam.

It’s extremely hard to accomplish, (and not worth the attempt as boxes are stupid easy) but it is possible.

Ah yes, the evade part of the dodge only kicks in once the character model is upside down.

Also this Boss is not so hard:

Phase 1:

Mobs: Kill TEH MOBS!

Phase 2:

1 Golem / Mini-Laser

Stay on the Stones/Cases whatever… or use them to jump over the “mini-laser”!

Kill the Golem!

Tip:
1) Dodge does NOT work!
2) Invulnerabilities / Stability does work, both is best ofc.
3) Group should stay together
4) Before killing the Mob make sure everyone lives!

Phase 3)

2 Golems / Maxlaser and Minlaser

in this Pase the Group needs to kite the Golems, and move with the Lasers, …

Tip:
you can use Invulnerability/Stability as a Oh kitten Button!

It’s really not so hard!
