Can you still get Personal Space after a wipe or do you need do it all over again?

Seems sadly no. Last night I set stopwatch at boss and we wiped at our first try and it took only 1 min and 45 sec and our second try took 12 min 10 sec.

So total time is 13 min 55 sec but we didn’t get achievement.

Personal Space achievement is about evading Horrik’s barrage AoEs.

Ah right but same goes for it.

I got the achievement after a wipe. I also got it when I got hit by Horrik’s AoEs. I was surprised because I also died during the cannon phases. Not sure how it happened…

If you got with that way seems another darn bug cuz i did both of it with proper way and there is a no achievement for me.

Looks like an another RNG punishment with bug.

Sounds like " – If you are playing this game we’ll punish you with RNG and Bugs or with both in same time."

Could be a mistake, since you are able to acquire Faster than Light after a wipe, even if you have been hit by lasers.

this is definitely bugged. just had a run where it hit me during our first try.
i avoided every single aoe during the second fight and didn’t get the achievement.
anets ignorance in this matter is just unbelievable…

How about from the cannons? Did you avoid the ones he fired too?

As per the dev response in the other thread you only need to avoid Horrik’s AOE during the cannon phase. This means you can still get hit by his normal AOE and normal cannon fire as long as it doesn’t come for Horrik.

However I don’t know if it resets after a wipe or not though.

About the achievement, does anyone know if blocking/invulnerable stops it from working? Because I like to use things like earth shield on my ele and I was wondering if that would stop me from earning it since I don’t actually dodge all the blasts, but rather I’m invulnerable for a chunk of them.
