Why do we need an NPC to open panels for us again? didn’t you learn your lesson from making Zojja open the door in Sorrow’s Embrace? STOP MAKING NPCS REQUIRED TO PROGRESS.
Plus a million times this. Maybe make opening the door required to progress, but stop making progression reliant on buggy NPCs. It’s just leading to frustration all around.
Plus, can groups who had to leave at this point get credit for not having to go through the laser walls again?
Ye just bugged out for us on last trash mobs before final boss, so frustrating.

I agree with the consensus that NPCs should not be relied upon for completion of anything in this game. The AI for them is short a few fuses in the electric box that runs the NPCs in any of the instances.

Got to top of jump poppers where there is a doorway w consol next to it – Keil does not make it to this area, stays down on trail and consol not working so it is bugged. One person left group and someone who had successfully done the dungeon agreed. Bugged. Nice dungeon other than the fact you can’t complete it……..
My party and I have been at this for three hours, we finally beat the lightning wall room, and then we got stuck here because of this bug. I am not happy, and I’m not exaggerating how long we’ve been doing this. Please fix this. Though I’m probably not going to do this dungeon for a long time because I’m so angry right now. Plus side, I bonded with my group over raging, lol.
I hope that at some point ArenaNet realizes that releasing bugged content is a prime reason for loss of players. I will no longer be spending any money in the gem store until things such as this improve. Why should we support you when you the product provided to us is inferior? Group content that doesn’t work only enrages all five players.
If she gets “stuck” before the bridges, you need to activate the panel right after them. Afterwards, she’ll run across and be okay. If you proceed much further without doing that, she might not trigger the final boss.
I think what bugs her out is if you kill the mobs at the top before she reaches them then she will not know what to do next.
Stuck for my group as well. Had someone who couldn’t make the jumps, so we started moving ahead, and after we killed the mobs she just stands there.
Same issue w/my party – all 5 did jumping puzzle and she’s just hanging out waiting for her nails to dry.
If we can find a 5th (lost one), we’re heading back in and will have 1 do jump portion and see if it’s a go.
It’s bugged, see this is simple things ANET could easily fix. Don’t have NPCS open doors.
One person did the JP, the rest tried to escort Kiel to prevent this bug(after the patch), still bugged.
We managed to somehow unbug her, though now we are up to the doors of the last boss fight she wont do anything to open the door!

I’d agree with this. We proceeded too long before pressing the activate panel after the jumping puzzle and she didn’t trigger the final boss.
Someone guildies had her bug out right after the jumping portion.

Same thing happened to us! Took screenshots and sent them over. It takes a while for a PUG to get to the last boss. I hope ANET gives those people affected by the bug a special something through the mail. You never know! Santa might just be working in June! Or is that July?

My guild quickly came to the same consensus, so please do unambiguously tell us when it’s been fixed. Update notes of “We’ve updated the game to fix several bugs” isn’t going to give my guildies much confidence. – a few of them were saying that they hated the dungeon before the bug, they don’t want to go through (most of) it again only to get stopped at the final hurdle by a bug.

ANET, for any1 that reported a bug inside the dungeon you should give free endboss chest… I’m here over an hour teaching people and farming monocle… and they are kitten ed, so am I

Last night after the patch a group and I decided to do the dungeon hoping it was fixed. Unfortunately we hit the same bug everyone else is mentioning. I sent a ticket last night with an image.
For us we were doing the jumping puzzle part. My jumping skills aren’t the greatest so when trying to make the last jump I fell and died. My group made it to the top, hit the door control and fought the last set of mobs. The group seemed to have killed the mobs quicker than the investigator could make it to the top. She got stuck in the same spot that everyone has pictured. I ran back and we tried several things, from all doing the jumping piece again to having people warp out of the instance. She remained in that same spot. The thing we found odd was on the mini map that aether cache was still highlighted.
Another thing I noticed early in the dungeon I was looting an enemy and saw the text “sorry this content is temporarily disabled please try again later.” I’m not sure why this popped up but figured I would mention it.

I want to do the dungeon again but i dont want spend 1 hour to nothing?
We just hit this glitch. Keil stopped moving at the exact location in Luna’s screen shot, right after the jumping puzzle.

I just encountered the same problem. Shortly after we crossed the bridges with lightning, and were headed up the slope towards the final boss, Keil just stopped right near the top of the slope, just before the forcefield doorway, and wouldn’t move. We tried talking to her, returning to a waypoint, using swiftness buffs on her, and nothing worked. She just continued to stand there, and unfortunately we had to disband the group and give up, since there was nothing else we could do.
Same issue experienced here last night immediately following patch. We all went up jumping puzzle part, killed mobs, Kiel does nothing. She got stuck halfway up the long way around, so we all WP’d, which reset her to us. We ran her up to the door as close as you can get and she does nothing. We all reported in with /bug, but wanted to make sure I said something on the forums as well.
Definitely does not make you guys look so hot when you bring the dungeon down because it was bugged, make a big announcement that dungeon is coming back up, seemingly fixed, and then it is still bugging. It’s bush league is what it is.

Does it have something to do with the mobs on the right after the mid boss that nobody kills?
I think it has something to do with the mobs at the top of the jumping puzzle. Open the door and let her run into the mobs to fight. I think she is scripted to wait at the door until it opens, then walk up the hill, and then fight the mobs. If you kill the mobs before she reaches can fight them, her script breaks down and she bugs out.
My group is having the same problem described in this thread.

However, Ellen did reach the group and fought them. We cleared them but since then she’s been stuck.
This is really getting old. I have run this dungeon 7 times now trying to complete it and Kiel continues to bug and not move/open the final door for the last boss.
I really like the dungeon, but untill it’s fixed I certainly won’t run it… Truly a shame, especially because it’s limited time content

With update I thought it would be fixed… But is not! Kiel keeps bugging on the exact same place as everyone else has stated

Just after doing the jumping part and killing the trash mobs she will walk that far and stay there… We tried Waypointing back and forth but did not work… I dont know if i want to try again… is sad I really want to complete my achievements! You should fix it and extend the period of time the dungeon is staying
You should never do Guild Wars 2 content the day of. I can’t recall a single time they have released content that worked as intended the first day of release. Expecting it to work properly within the first few days will only leave you disappointed. It sounds harsh, but it is the truth. Just give it a few days and come back to it later

I’ve had this bug out for me about 5 times now… But I recently went with a group and someone told us to have one person stay with Kiel at all times during this part and it actually worked! I’m not sure if this will work all the time, but since I learned this, it hasn’t bugged out for me at all. So for those running into this bug, try having at least one person escort Kiel as she moves up the corridor.

I just got back from work and I don’t see any new patch notes or any updates from the launcher. I hope they get it up and running later today, this is a very time limited dungeon right? Two weeks!
first time i did this 5 of us took the upper route, wipe out the mobs and when we go to kiel, she bugged out(same position from the screenshot in early post). nothing we can do had to restart.
possible solution:
2nd time my team split into 2 grp, 1st grp use the jumping plateform to get to the top and trigger the door and wait there. 2nd grp go through the door with kiel and aggro the mobs to her. kiel will say something and charge towards the mob. finished the mob and she move to the control and you can talk to her to attempt the final battle.
Just had her bug again for the third time. Always in the same spot, after the jumping puzzle, after killing the npc’s gathered in her way.
This is rediculous, 3 attempts to do the dungeon and nothing to show for it but armour repairs.
Please Anet, just let us kill her as a replacement for the final boss that she won’t let us reach…

It bugs before she even gets inside. Once you get to the top of the jumping puzzle and kill the NPC’s it bugs out. She stops moving, and the walls keeping us out of the room stay up.

Just had this problem as well, really annoying to loose the progress. Why is the next part shielded anyway? Simple fix to this problem I’d say..
This works for me: Before you go to the jumping puzzle area you have a platform between the second bridge and the last bridge and there is a device that you use to stop the lightnings in the bridge. After you turn off the device you can continue the dungeon without the npc becoming stuck.
The problem here is that must players skip that part of the dungeon, because the device is well hidden, and when players skip it, the npc will come along after you complete the next part and will become stuck after the jumping puzzle.
Note 1: If you didn’t turn off the device and you continued the dungeon, the npc will come along and will become stuck, and even if you turn off the device after doing the jumping puzzle the dungeon will continue bugged.
Note 2: I didn’t tried to bug the dungeon after the last update.
Note 3: Always let at least 1 player with the npc in the jumping puzzle area.

Why on earth you still making dungeons in which npc do anything? Tell me just why?
Npc should just talk and be useless. Always.
Kiel get stucked after jumping. Shie died from some bleeds and than just stucked.

Same here. What hurts me most is the group I did this with was by far not pro (nether am I) and we spend some time to figure this twister thing out. And everyone was patient and nice and eager to get to the end.
And of course it is VERY disappointing for all to leave the nice group and the dungeon just before the final boss because it’s bugged. Isn’t there a way to test this before letting it go live?

its the second time i arrive at the last boss and have to leave,the dungeon is hard enough already without me having to repeat it due to a bug…loving the content..dispointed at it,also i sent a bug report with a screen

We went back after she bugged and tripped this switch and she then moved but wouldn’t open the barrier when she got there

I don’t know about that. I’ve never done GW2 content the day of release, but that’s also how I missed the easy gold and karma from Canach, the extra laurels received by people completing dailies/monthlies immediately after a patch, the lack of a headache from having Crab Toss achievements not bugged for almost two weeks, etc.
Of course, the first time I do the content right away, our group runs into this bug right after the jumping puzzle… lol.

I also ran twice with a different approach and succeeded to avoid the bug. we waited until Kiel engaged and got down, then we killed the mobs and revive her, after that she continued to walk to the control panel and became ready for triggering final boss.
