My answer is yes. I have spent the majority of the event on below 80 chars and have received about 4 on a level 60ish character.

I have to disagree here. I farmed events in Southsun Cove for 8 hours with a level 35 character (that is now level 40) and didn’t get a single Southsun supply crate. Then I switched to a level 80 character and got two within the first hour.

I played wit a lvl 52 character last night, she got one crate. My lvl 80 character did not get anything from the same mob. So, it is possible to get them. But they are rare.

Do you mean the chests that are rewarded at the end of some events or the Southsun Supply Crates that drop rarely from enemies?

The chests you can definitely get on characters of any level, but the loot inside them will be scaled to your level. So you’ll get better drops if you’re level 80, but you’ll get something even if you’re level 1.

The Supply Crates I have no idea. I haven’t seen any drop so far and I’ve heard the drop rate is something like 0.01% so it’s really hard to tell if you’re not getting any because it can’t happen or just because it’s so rare.

I meant supply crates, and to answer my own question it seems so; I got a supply crate on a level 17 character.

Ive only played on it at level 80, and I have so far got stuff all. Completed all my achievements (well, 25), explored everything, done all my dailies there…. I would have thought I would have at least got one!
