As I understand it, Canach, working alone, rubbed his magic flower juice on the consortium contracts so the local wildlife would go ape and destroy them, which is why they’re losing it and specifically why they’re attacking settlements.

If Canach had access to the contracts to spray them with Censer-goo why didn’t he just destroy them himself?

Or did he just grow censers and “plan” for the whole thing to be resolved because wild animals commonly attack large stacks of paper?

I don’t get it. Someone explain this to me would you?

He said he’d marked the places likely to have the contracts. So I’m assuming he went to every consortium outpost and made it a target, the end.

I’m fairly certain Canach gave several settlers fervid censers and told them to mark consortium outposts (which can be seen from an interaction between Kiel and a Norn after a wildlife attack). The settler’s believed that the crazed wildlife would only attack the consortium, but the wildlife ended up attacking anything in their path to the fervid censers including the settlers. He would probably use the commotion to steal the contracts/kill Noll.

His brain is probably floating in steroids right now and you’re wondering if maybe he didn’t think all of this through?
