One of May’s screenshots contains some characters used in a trailer released just after the launch.

I wonder if they will play an important part in the story or maybe Anet used them just for the lulz.

Well, those characters are (apparently) facing down Zhaitan in Orr, as you can see from the nearby structures. So I doubt they have anything to do with the Living Story in its current phase. Given the overall response to that trailer I think everyone’s trying to forget it.

That said, there are large chunks of the gameworld (such as Divinity’s Reach) that I hope will be brought into play, further up the road.

The main character will be Ellen Kiel, she is already in game since Lost Shores… I personally think she needs a redesign to become more unique as Braham and Rox … But this story seems to have a single chapter, maybe this character will not be as important to the future of the game, only the enemy.

Those are probably just some of the developers’ characters on the test server.

I hope she looks more normal Braham and Rox were not received well i’m hoping this next NPC isn’t so over done…
