Q:

So there are a lot of complaints/critiques about the latest update, but I feel this one is important enough to warrant it’s own discussion.

The last part of the fight is a dps race, so it can be very hard for parties that have people with conditions. This is really unfair to classes that are very condition based or have hybrid builds.

I actually wonder if this is a bug because at the very start of the fight, he does get affected by conditions. Once his shield goes up, they no longer affect him which makes perfect sense. After you bring his shield down, you would expect conditions to affect him again. However, that is not the case. He will be immune, with or without his shield, from that point forward. If this was intentional, why not just have him immune from the start?

Is this a bug or intentional? If intentional, don’t you feel this is unfair to players who are heavy on conditions?

He’s a wobot. Wobot’s don’t bleed, they don’t get poisoned.

They should make new conditions that we can apply on wobots. Like vírus.

On a more serious note, what I said is true, that’s why… It’s unfair for condi-based? Yeah, a bit, but the fight isn’t complex/hard/that serious anyway so I think it’s warranted there. Also, NO GROUP EVER should be just about condition, gotta have that balance right there (funny how purê power dps can do wonders on everything though).

eh, he keeps attacking the ranger’s pets, annoying as hell. especially if the ranger doesn’t pay enough attention. Why is it we can just get near a mine and it blows, while the golem has to run over it, precisely? Also, there were several times when I used the correct setting on the mine detector only to have it blow up a mine anyway, several times in a row even.

When I noticed the lack of conditions I didn’t know what to do. That crowd control boon seem rather pointless since he can’t be blinded, or afflicted by weakness. I tried switching to support and just activating mines. I had have a nice toughness score and the golem seemed to like following me, when it wasn’t attacking the ranger’s pets… My last fight, he dropped his shield, so I dropped my detector to cast a few skills, we were all instantly downed. Well one guy was still on his feet. We seemed to be doing fine, and suddenly everyone was covered in electricity. Some one suggested it was rage. It is a little difficult when the shield pops back on immediately after we remove it. especially if there are no mines spawned t the time.
